Disappointing display, we totally lacked any creativity. I do not know how we are expected to break teams down with a Bannan - Clarke midfield (a centre half and a winger??). Downing dreadful again!!

Bannan looked very tidy... Ashley MOM, he essentially was the difference between the two teams

Great result but we absolutely stole that one. I'm afraid this result could be painting over some cracks. Downing utterly useless again.

Friedel, Warnock & Downing are serious problems and have been for a while. Brad's reflexes are gone and he seems very reluctant to catch anything. Warnock is prone to switching off far too often and Downing is an embarrassment. Whatever about lack of form or inexperience from the kids, Downing is afraid to put his foot in for the cause, constantly disappoints me.

Friedel 6 - One outstanding save, could argue his feet could have been better for the goal Cuellar 3 - Completely unsure and offered nothing going forwrad. Why was Young not brought on earlier? Missed penalty cost us in the end. Very disappointing. Our inability to break down average teams at home worries me. We are crying out for some creativity through the middle. Predictable width and Heskey is utterly ineffective in that system.
