Xmas lunch with work team, then drinks in Brindleyplace... great atmosphere in Pitcher and Piano... lots of parties and Xmas tunes. Then decamped to Prince of Wales to meet another couple of mates for a few more, before heading over to Kings Heath to watch my mate's band play there at The Hare and Hounds. What a fantastic night, and a brilliant venue. Feeling a bit sluggish today! I'm not a huge drinker in terms of volume, but may have hit double figures yesterday. mjmooney Posted December 15, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted December 15, 2023 I always look forward to Magic Light's excellent annual TV adaptations of the Julia Donaldson children's books (The Gruffalo, Stick Man, etc., etc.) This year they are finally doing the one I had hoped for last year (instead of the slightly disappointing Superworm) - Tabby McTat. When I got to the window the guy apologised for the wait and told me he'd put an extra sachet of ketchup in there for my wait.
