I still wish him well and hope he does brilliantly for them. He'll be a MOTD player. We'll only see his successful Hollywood passes in their highlights so he'll look great from now on

To those Crystal Palace fans who want to know what Bannan will bring to your team, I will show what he brought to our team last year.

Won 6, Drawn 4, Lost 8 (18 starts)

Aston Villa win % without Bannan: 10.5%

Aston Villa win % with Bannan: 33.3%

Crossing accuracy: 46%  (52 out of 114) - this is highest in Premier League. Media articles about how he was higher % than Eden Hazard, Walcott etc. However, since Bannan only had 18 starts he is not included in a Daily Mail/Opta report on crossing accuracy, which only included players of 20 or more starts (I think Lambert was top on that one).

Average minutes until goal scored with Bannan on the field: 81 (compared to 74 for Benteke, team average = 83)

Best game: Liverpool 1 - 3 Aston Villa

"Classic Bannan" passes, showing his vision, ranger of passing, weight of passing, and passing accuracy:

Fact is, you have bought a possible genius for peanuts. Give him your support and we'll buy him back £20m.

Is there a link to this on a Palace forum?  Would love to see the responses.

i know Con gifs get a lot of stick but that Fulham pass was top of the range. Beckham or Gerrrard did it sky be still wanking over it

He tries enough of them. 1 of them had to come.

why does everyone want him gone so much?

ok, he wasn't great, but he wasn't bad for someone who cost £0 in transfer fees & around £5k/week wages.

Agreed, always tried hard and nowhere near the worst of the money drainers.

Nursey said that his wages were £20k per week, so people want him gone to free up the cash to add a better player to the squad.
