If anyone wants to see why wwe sucks these days

  Reveal hidden contents

Watch the 24/7 wedding. My god utter garbage wtf

I saw something earlier celebrating Randy Orton being in the wwe for 20 years, he's a big part of why it's shit, going from the rock, stone cold, dx etc to Orton and Cena

Good match between Jeff Hardy and Darby Allin on this week's AEW Dynamite. Have to say I've never seen that stipulation in a match before - 'whose back can take the most punishment'. Bah Gawd. Must have taken inspiration from Kota Ibushi / Tetsuya Naito / Will Ospreay's infamous 'whose neck can take the most punishment' matches.

This week's Dynamite was orders of magnitude (pop pop!) better than last week's.  Darby ladder spot was mental.  The Dax/Cole opener was top-drawer and had me believing for just a second that Dax might have been going over.  MJF/Wardlow segment was great, and the faux-DSOTR vignette to lead into it was *chef kiss*.  All that and they've managed to find something for Tony Nese that works perfectly as part of the Hookhausen angle.  Great stuff all around.

Big incident with sasha banks and naomi wlaking out during a live show. No idea what thats about it seems it was not planned and they could be on big trouble

Kota Ibushi is seemingly also burning all bridges with NJPW having either likened them to, or referenced direct involvement with, organised crime and Yakuza when it comes to the running of the company. He posted a load of stuff on Twitter, and one of the higher up's responded, publicly, and basically said 'well if you want end your contract, we can'. To which Kota replied 'OK!'

I don't really understand the Sasha / Naomi situation. The WWE's statement on it was really odd too. Seems very unprofessional to me.

The problem with wrestling is, there are always going to be groups of fans who won't hear of it being anything other than a work. But then, look what happened with Cody...

I struggle to have sympathy for anyone who has worked in wwe for a while and has re signed a contract after that time who then acts like this. You know what company you are working for. This is the crap they pull all the time. Everyone knows this. If you sign a contract knowing this then that’s your own fault.

I think they know of they get fired they can just rock up in aew on big contracts so they wont be out of work.

Personally looking at aews roster its absolutely stacked. I dont think they would have such a high position as they do in wwe

I was going to spoiler tag this, but I don't think I'll be talking about anything in any real specifics, at least surrounding the match itself. I don't think backstage politics is a spoiler as it's not part of any storyline, it's literally Tony Khan and MJF having a contract dispute.

The MJF rumours weren't nonsense. By MJFs own admission he showed up to the arena last minute. This is why AEW made the promo videos private, and only un-privated them once he was in the arena which was like 60 minutes before start time. All talent have to check in 3-4 hours before start time so he arrived 3 hours late. It wasn't all nonsense. MJF and Tony Khan's relationship that was once very good is completely fractured. He legit no-showed a meet and greet that fans paid for. He legit only showed up to the PPV last minute. Just because he showed up in the end doesn't mean the past 2 days of conflict between himself and Tony Khan didn't happen. MJF likely only turned up to Double or Nothing because he realised that no-showing the event would have screwed over his good friend Wardlow. I do think that if MJF was in a program with someone he respected less he would have stayed in the casino all night.

I am glad that MJF showed up and fulfilled not only his contractual obligation, but allowed a storyline 2+ years in the making to see its completion. As much as I want to see MJF stick around in AEW, I am glad that the AEW fans got closure on one of the longest running storylines in the companies history. We'll see what happens next.

Spoiler

Los Ingobernables...de America?

Wasn't an awful lot that really excited me on that card initially, and I'm not the sort to wet myself over the MJF stuff, so watched it just hoping for the best really.

Great, great show, top to bottom.

Looking forward to the Forbidden Door show, would LOVE to see Hook and Dan Hausen v Ishii and Toru Yano.

Also, despite the outcome of last night's main event, would still rather see Okada v Page than champ v champ. And maybe an LI reunion featuring Naito and Rush with Andrade, NJPW fans would be hyped for that.

Rumours alot of aew stars are thinking of jumping ship to wwe after seeing how vince has pushed cody.

This is the biggest problem with aew they signing too many wrestlers and not everyone getting pushed.  Look at keith lee relegated to tag team competition
