dont_do_it_doug.
Watched Evil Dead 3 - Army of Darkness last night, finally. B movie brilliance! Not quite to the standard of number 2, but wicked good fun anyway. Have that Glengarry Glen Ross for tonight. I've suddenly gone all 1992!

dont_do_it_doug.
Glengarry Glen Ross - 9/10 Absolutely wonderful screenplay, some seriously **** a-class acting and a minimalist direction style that captures the piece beautifully. The nearest thing to perfection I've watched in a long while.

Rodders
this week i've seen part 1 and 2 of the Three Muskateers - the one with Michael York, Oliver Reed etc. Great fun, George McDonald Frazers influence on the script is quite evident! Makes me want to get hold of the books. It was a bit sad seeing the stunt that for some reason I knew beforehand ultimately killed roy kinnear though. raquel welsh and faye dunaway,... mmmm
Pelle
I like the old Musketeers films with York. Never realised Oliver Reed was in it, though. Athos? Long time since I saw them.
Rodders
yes he was Athos. Was prompted to watch them by a friend, after seeing a trailer for the new version coming out this year which looks truly truly terrible
Pelle
It was just the face of Athos that came up and I thought that must've been him. :-D I wish they could do a version of the Musketeers that was more serious, like the new Robin Hood with Crowe. Both Musketeers and Robin Hood films tends to get a bit light heartened and bordering on comedy. I'd want a darker one. But still good, sts.
