It's meant to be based on porno

I think bits of it are, but i'm not sure if its faithful to the book

Have you seen Filth? I think that was a good adaptation from what I thought was an unfilmable book!

Enjoyed " Hell or High Water "  . Who does it better than Jeff Bridges ? Pauline Kael once said out of all the actors she had seen ,he seemed the least self _ conscious of them all  . Talent without ego .isn't that a rare thing ?

Also liked Ben Fosters performance , who ,in my opinion,is a fine actor ,first came across him in 3 :10 to Yuma ,and he more than held his own with Bale and Crowe .

Watched 50/50 tonight (netflix)

One of those movies that I missed when I was out traveling.

Maybe not the best movie ever made, it was real to me..

Sometimes you happen to watch movies at just the right time in your life and by the end of it you feel like something inside of you has shifted a bit and life is somehow slightly different.

Yeah I enjoyed it too. The way I see it, we already knew Bridges could act. I came away more impressed that Pine could hold his own in that company.

Unsurprisingly, that has Fifth Element vibes dripping out of it.

Besson is very hit and miss so hard to draw much from that but the world seems great.

Besson is one of the most hit and miss of all time. His films are either great or totally bobbins.

Yeah arrivals had some good 8 and 9 /10 reviews and Amy Adams getting Oscar talk

watched dr strange, really enjoyed it, the training bit maybe went too fast and yes it suffered from a throw away villain and a villain who didn't look particularly great on screen but it worked for me, great cast, it was the best film I've ever watched in IMAX that's for sure

Enjoyed The Kingsman again last night, introducing it to the other half. Both of us still don't care for that one scene near the very end - she absolutely hated it - which was a shame as she'd loved the rest of the film.

Jason Bourne

You won't find a bigger fan of the original trilogy than me. Great films. This however, was a bit meh. Its ok, but lacked the wow factor and seemed to have been made just for the sake of it.

6/10

I'm sure anime fans will tear this to shreds, but given my exposure to Ghost in the Shell is a demo of the PS1 game (which seems to have less than nothing to do with what is in this trailer) about 20 years ago, all I can say is it looks pretty and Scarlett can do little wrong in my eyes.
