Just a niggle it sounds like and taken off as a precaution. That sounds reasonably positive.

I think Pau might have been carrying a niggle from the start, we barely used him playing the ball out from the back in the first half which was odd given Lenglet had to keep coming back inside to use his left. Apart from 10 minutes either side of half time I thought we were very comfortable.

I don’t think anyone would disagree with that but what’s your suggestion instead? Or if you’re just saying we have to just hope for the best - I agree!

No mate, no suggestions - just stating the obvious, I guess.

Bailey has as many goals as Foden. Luiz has more goals than Jota. Watkins has more goals than Saka and Son.

The football we played in the first half was superb. Football of the highest quality.

Yes, we can bemoan a poor goal to give away from the corner, but that was as much as Forest did in the first half.

Then, we lose Pau, they get a second very early into the 2nd half and the mood in VP changes.

The character the team showed was fantastic and we could have had more goals in the second half.

A very pleasing win.

For all the plaudits, (quite rightly) that Bailey, Watkins and Luiz are getting, i thought Tielemans was superb and had he put the one away that hit the post his performance would have stood out more.

An unsung hero today and my motm.

Happy days and another shot to the naysayers who said the season was over when Kamara suffered an ACL..........It's not very gracious of me but sod it.....up yours and UTV

Feels like a big day - big three points, big results elsewhere and a performance that, whilst it was briefly nervy was full of verve and invention.

We look confident and we look like we'll score goals - Watkins looks fresh and sharp, McGinn was a force all over the place, Luiz brilliant on the ball and Bailey electric when required - supported by Ramsey's runs, Tielemans smarts and the energy of Moreno - we will score goals against just about anyone. I thought just about all of those played well today and each did the thing they're good at very well - credit to the manager for coming up with a scheme that lets each player display their strengths - that's not as simple as he's making it look.

The goals were good, Bailey was razor sharp early on and I thought going forward we were really pleasing.

In defence, without so many players and playing our fifth and sixth choice centre backs in the second half behind a makeshift midfield missing a full French international, I thought we were actually okay - the first goal we gave away was sloppy, I thought we were halfway to the dressing room when we gave the corner away and switched off a little, the second one happens, a decent goal for Forest - but we adjusted and got stronger as the second half went on and I always thought we could win it, even if for a moment it looked like we might have to score six to do so.

I think Lenglet is becoming a bit of an unsung hero - looking a pretty steady fella in a ship that's taking on a lot of water, credit also to Chambers for settling in after a long time out and not looking completely out of place. I also thought that all of the subs showed the right attitude to the game - we'll need that, and their energy.

I thought it showed really good character from the boys to take back control of the game; they look like they're having fun, like they'll work their socks off for each other and that each one is willing to put themselves on the line for the cause - I'm not sure our rivals in this race can say the same.

Eight points clear of United, and if Arsenal win later, fifteen clear of Newcastle and not getting European football - we're in a great spot and we're playing well. If we play like this, we'll score goals against anyone and if we can do that over the next couple of weeks, we'll get Konsa and Diego Carlos back in time for the final push. It's going to be a tough finish to the season, we've got some really hard games coming up, but we're really well placed.

This is some team, some season, some club - if you're not excited, you're not paying attention. 

Bring on Luton.

I liked how we had our wobble at 3.2 but quickly took back control of the game.

Odd game.  Felt we looked great going forwards but seemed hell bent on gifting them a cheap goal.   Massive performances from Watkins and Bailey, it’s hard to say who played better out of those two.  Felt Tielemans had a good game too, especially after the Forest fans started giving him stick in the first half, it seemed to make him roll his sleeves up and really get stuck in.
 

Dougie got overrun a few times in the middle, that’s something we are going to have to deal with after Kamara's ACL but it does need dealing with. Going forwards he was great.  Nice to see Digne back in the team too.  
 

Overall it was decent. We let them back into the game unnecessarily but we do seem to be able to react to things happening on the pitch and we reacted well today.

Good win, almost messed it up but reacted well to score 4th. 

Gave MOTM to Watkins, he was brilliant today, Bailey very close behind

Gave McGinn MOTM but Bailey, Watkins and Dougie all could have won it. Made it more difficult for ourselves then we should have but another 3 points and 2+ goals better off too
