Go 3 at the back, push Digne & Bailey wide, Dougie & McGinn can do the midfield work and have Diaby playing off Ollie & Duran. They've turned up for a backs to the wall spoiler kind of game, just stop the Villa attack end that's it, and we've got no answer to it. Cash is the weakest on the pitch, he's not got the vision, sharpness or range of passing to make the most of the opportunities that open for him so those split second chances to make a move he misses. brummybloke Posted December 22, 2023 Share Posted December 22, 2023 Disappointing is an understatement. Cash terrible, poor decisions, slow thinking and needs taking off. Mcginn looks tidy, until he gets anywhere near their area and then he just passes them the ball. Fking shoot every now and then instead of maybe 6 or 7 times just passing them the ball. That goes for the rest of the team, stop looking for the eye of a needle pass against 6 defenders and actually fire a bloody shot off. Far too slow in our build up play, we aren't winning so what are we wasting our own time by keeping it 30 seconds at a time at the back before releasing a pass ? Konsa right cash off and Carlos on who is willing to make the quick long pass on. Zaniolo would have been decent for this game, he's not shy in shooting unlike our team tonight.
