We're slow and look utterly devoid of creativity. Push a midfielder on, increase the tempo, and we'll apply more pressure and naturally create more. If a tournament started tomorrow this kid would be destroyed, Netherlands brought a teenage left back to a tournament before and he was so out of his depth it was sad to watch. Its a dead rubber 8 months before a tournament, you call up the u21 talent that at a push could make the tournament next summer or failing that if shaw and Chilwell are fit this guy will still develop and make squads years down the line You don't call up a guy who's back up at Newcastle or starts for Luton to plug the gap for 1 game never to be seen again This is the right way to do international football And if he did call up Targett do you think there'd be no criticism?
