Can always guarantee someone who defended Tate is now unwilling to condemn Brand another set of posts telling us we all misstreat women. Will it go to court, I would look at Ched Evans and how he won his rape case appeal, and if I was a woman I would have no confidence in the courts. Davkaus Posted September 17, 2023 Share Posted September 17, 2023 I think it's important to note that nobody is "proven" not guilty, They're found not guilty if they can't be found guilty beyond all reasonable doubt. I don't think it's unreasonable for individuals to have a lower standard of proof for considering someone a wrong un than that required to criminally convict them. If Greenwood can't be convicted when there is photo and video evidence, what chance to these women have against Brand (and others). I agree with that but then they still haven't been convicted so we cant set them on fire either =] I cant remember who said it a few pages back but the law system really is **** up. He is what stupid people think clever looks like. Then he positioned himself as a kind of political outsider who'll 'tell you truths THEY don't want you to know'. He's an idiot who got smoke blown up his own arse so hard he thinks he's a dragon. I don't know if he is guilty of these allegations, and I wouldn't pretend to, but the fact that one of the women went to a rape crisis centre the day after the incident, rather than after a period of contemplation looks very very bad to me. Girl 1 - she shags a celebrity, next day goes to a rape crises centre - it was entirely consensual and she was planning to sell her story/blackmail Brand, why didn't she push forward with this plan of extortion? who knows Girl 2 - he shoved his penis in her mouth until she was gagging and then said "I only wanted to see your mascara running" the damning evidence is that this is also a joke in his stand up show, the bastard is actually writing jokes about his abuse....or the girl was approached by Dispatches and she tailored her story to this joke to give it more credence The Girls accounts can't be taken seriously because they didn't come forward with this, they were approached by Dispatches, they never had any problem going about their lives up until they were told that they would be on telly (ignoring the fact that they have remained anonymous), they are just after their 5 minutes of fame. Taking a celebrity (or anyone else) to trial for a rape accusation has an extremely low success rate. For the victim there is also the massive cost and the trauma of having to relive the event plus having all personal and sex life details made public. The victims life is changed forever. This is why in the case of Brand the female making the accusation is still not sharing her identity.
