How has that ref been given a good rating...he was useless all game. 

Fair play for him to call the pen our way but that doesn't suddenly forgive him for the errors the errors in the other 101 minutes.

i was typing when the match thread closed, but I hate to deny ya'll access to my wit and wisdom.

The bulk of the match suffered from us loping along without pushing with and speed or urgency.  Diaby's quickness showed running down the left and he set a ball that I could have finished to Leon who stalled, hesitated, thought about it, reconsidered, then decided, made me furious, then finished.

SPEED and URGENCY.  needs to be on posters all over the locker room.

Also, great to have a really good penalty taker, that was some pressure.

Cool as you like from Douglas at the spot and happy for Leon to seal it, he played well today.

It looked to me like Ollie was impeded before the defender touched the ball. 

It was a fluke Palace goal to begin with, so we deserved to win that, penalty or not.

And don't forget we had that first goal VAR-ed off by the thinnest of margins.

First time I’ve managed to get to a game for a while and my god the people sat behind me in A1 row F 28-31.

Moaning we didn’t attack the holte first half

moaning we didn’t go long

moaning we were holding onto possession

moaning we didn’t play a pass into space when it wasn’t on

Awful awful negativity.

Ruined the experience for 84 minutes as I haven’t been able to get to a game for various reasons.
 

They left after 85 mins

Brilliant goal from Duran! Changed everything. Dougie my MOTM though, when everyone else kept making sloppy mistakes and losing duels all over the pitch, he kept his head and stayed sharp.
