Pau Torres

He's a CB who doesn't really get involved in a lot of defensive actions so his numbers will be low.

Quite obviously he hasn't been one of the worst signings, just imagine that's the reason for it on WhoScored. Had a very quick look and Romero on the other hand who seemingly gets a lot more stuck in is on a 7.39.

SofaScore has Torres down as a 6.86 (Konsa 6.98).

And we all know what a bombscare and tool Romero is.

Ok, so there's Torre's and one other?

Joachim Andersen

Pau Torres

Cristian Romero

Micky van de Ven

All CBs who have scored, probably more but cba to keep looking, and this isn't including FBs. Why anyway?

Attempting to summarise into one number a player's entire contribution to a match and their team is garbage. Designed for kids who haven't watched a full 90 minutes (or should that be 100 min?) and can only understand a player based on how fast Fifa says he can run. It's like players are now Pokemon: must have a single value by which they can be evaluated.

The terms of the comparison are skewed, anyway: is a player signed by newly-promoted Burnley worse than a player signed for millions upon millions of pounds by an established club with world--class facilities like United?

Couple of ropey passes aside, he was superb.

He's getting better and better each week and building a superb partnership with Ezri.

I wouldn't go that far! He was a 6/10 today. He got done a few times down the left and made a few half arsed attempts to tackle, as well as the ropey passes you mentioned.

Can you have luxury centre half? I think we do. He's like Mesut Ozil but playing in defence.

Far too many hopeful balls played into really dangerous areas. Not what I thought his game was.

Plenty of room for improvement.
