Race for Champions League - 2023/2024

The good thing is Neville and Sky are hyping United up that they’re back, after a few wins. That they’re going to go go on a winning run like they’re halcyon days of old. Watch the meltdown in a couple of week when City absolutely batter them.

The one annoying thing about Utd is it really all seems to be clicking up front of a sudden. With Mr No Goal Contributions relegated to the bench where he belongs, and Garnacho and Hojlund suddenly hitting veins of form, they seem to have found a formula that's going to get plenty of goals.

Yeah Man United just not convincing. I don't think we have to worry about them. Games are running out think and fast for them.

Lets just focus on beating Forest

Haven’t they just won 4 games in a row?

The Man City game is a free hit for them, it’s the other games that will decide where they finish and they have a lot of games left against poor teams that they will probably beat.

They've been unconvincing all season and done the double on us whilst just 5 points behind us. As for games running out, there are 13 games and 39 points left to play for. That 5 point gap is hardly insurmountable.

They were not very good last year and finished top 4 and won a trophy. Ruling them out is madness. They are a huge threat and get the decisions other teams just won't get. We need to go on a strong winning run of our own asap.

Villa’s next 6 games are harder than Man Utd’s next 6 games.   And we both have Man City (a) so that cancels out.

It's really crucial we beat Luton and Wolves looking at who plays who when. And Forest next weekend of course.

As said win our next two and Man. United lose the Manchester derby and it's back to 8 point advantage to 6th.

Beating Wolves is critical as I think Brentford could well get a draw v Man. United and Spurs will pretty likely beat Luton so we need to keep a gap over Spurs as they have a brutal April fixture list.

Interesting midweek round aswell. We will struggle to get much at Man. City but Man. United have Chelsea away and they rarely win at Stamford Bridge and Spurs have West Ham away who have already beaten them this season.

I think whoever is 4th in early April after the Easter fixtures will be big favourites to secure 4th.

Wolves will be harder than the Man Poo game, we will get a draw at best.

They played very well yesterday and deservedly beat Spurs. One of those awkward match ups for us given they low block but also have good pace on the break. Forest will actually be a decent warm up for them.

The key as ever is just to get the first goal and manage the game from that point. We just don't do that often enough when we play Wolves home or away.

Problem with teams like United, Chelsea etc is that they have so much quality, they can stumble onto points by default even when they don't deserve it.

That being said, still our place to lose, shame we have Europe ( They don't ) and squad a bit light right now though!

United will get 4th, it all depends now on Spurs and if they Spurs it. They've plenty of tough fixtures

I'm sure they will and I admire your confidence in them, a confidence that is probably unmatched by all but a few of their most one eyed fans. With Best and Law up front and Charlton in the middle, they will probably pull back our 18 goal advantage over them by the end of the month!

We need to be more clinical in front of goal, because we’re gonna get screwed by PGMOL. Those 2-1s need to be 3-1 or 4-1.

Saturday's win would have been, if it wasn't for PGMOL.

United run won't last, as for Spurs, they are no better than us, big Ange's title winning Spurs is a myth, and your falling for it.

I'm ruling them out! Just like you've been ruling Villa out the whole season.
