Biscuits are the True Ambrosia

We've talked about biscuits before but they really do deserve their own thread being the food of the gods that they are.

So to start the debate, a question.

Is the chocolate on the top or the bottom of a McVities Chocolate Digestive?

The top, but it’s barely even chocolate.  They’re not very nice, anyway.  The good biscuits have lemon. Other good biscuits have coconut.  It’s a science fact.

Or to put it another way: is the chocolate on the left or the right?

The answer is: on the right. When I refill the biscuit jar, I open the left end of the packet, and tip them in biscuit side down.

I don’t mean to be mean, but you’ve corrected your initial assertion there and are right to do so. You’ve identified that the biscuit side is the lower one. Well done.

In a world where fish and gravy is an acceptable combination, maybe. You continue to be a culinary monster :D

Jaffa cakes.

Asda do new ones now with strawberry and lemon flavour. Very nice.

I wonder who will be the first to say jaffa cakes aren't biscuits?

Well similarly to fig rolls, they also have to occupy their own storage box.

In the fridge.

Normal bikkie jar has gingernuts and custard creams.
