The more I think about this, the more questions I have, really.

Since it doesn't know you, presumably you still have to put in your job history, exam results, name, address, personal details etc. Which seems to me to be most of, if not all of the contents of a CV.

What exactly did the Chat GPT do? I'm just puzzled and curious.

I basically told it my job title and asked it to provide a list of my responsibilities and duties while including a couple of other details like my handling authority limit and told it to mention a few things that I wanted included, it wasn't the whole CV just that bit but it came out really well, I also copied my entire CV into it and asked for its opinion and it gave it the thumbs up

Copy and paste the bit it produced back into it and ask it if AI generated it.

The Unpredictable Abilities Emerging From Large AI Models...

... Recent investigations like the one Dyer worked on have revealed that LLMs can produce hundreds of “emergent” abilities — tasks that big models can complete that smaller models can’t, many of which seem to have little to do with analyzing text. They range from multiplication to generating executable computer code to, apparently, decoding movies based on emojis. New analyses suggest that for some tasks and some models, there’s a threshold of complexity beyond which the functionality of the model skyrockets. (They also suggest a dark flip side: As they increase in complexity, some models reveal new biases and inaccuracies in their responses.)

“That language models can do these sort of things was never discussed in any literature that I’m aware of,” said Rishi Bommasani, a computer scientist at Stanford University. Last year, he helped compile a list of dozens of emergent behaviors, including several identified in Dyer’s project. That list continues to grow.

I look forward to the inevitable court case when Skynet goes live and its first act is to sue Ed Sheeran for plagiarism and copyright infringement

As market forces devalue sectors that AI expands into, the underclass will grow.

is that the Hollywood tag line for a new AI created film about AI?

If the crawlers have passed through? It's a possibility.

anything is possible now we've started to teach the machines to think in some odd way that even the people behind it can't state for definite. Won't be long until our calculators are teaching the kids Maths, our books teaching them literature and language. Thing I'm eager for is for AI to replace the GP (Generally Pointless)

It's hard to say where it goes? C**ts will be poisoning it, like they poison the rest of our society.

If it becomes clever enough? It'll surely realise that we have a problem with psychopaths in positions of power, and an economic model that's not fit for purpose.

Have you tried asking chatGPT to write you a song in a style of a particular artist? it is scary how accurate it is, I asked it to write one in the style of Zach Bryan and it could easily have been one of his songs, everything down to the chord structure, same with Tyler Childers and a few others I have tried

Erm I was playing around with ChatGPT and I asked it to write me a love song in the style of Sonic Youth

Quote

Verse 1:
We met in a world of noise and distortion,
Guitars screaming, hearts racing, out of proportion,
But through the chaos, I saw your eyes,
And I knew then, I had to make you mine.

Chorus:
You're my teenage riot, my burning desire,
I wanna hold you close, feel the flames grow higher,
We'll ride this wave of feedback and distortion,
Together we'll make beautiful noise, like a sonic eruption.

Verse 2:
We dance to the rhythm of a different drum,
In a world where conformity is the rule of thumb,
But when we're together, we're rebels in love,
Breaking all the rules, like a glove.

Chorus:
You're my teenage riot, my burning desire,
I wanna hold you close, feel the flames grow higher,
We'll ride this wave of feedback and distortion,
Together we'll make beautiful noise, like a sonic eruption.

Bridge:
Our love is like a feedback loop,
Endless and electric, it makes my heart swoon,
Every time we touch, it's like a guitar chord,
Vibrating with love, our passion is never ignored.

Chorus:
You're my teenage riot, my burning desire,
I wanna hold you close, feel the flames grow higher,
We'll ride this wave of feedback and distortion,
Together we'll make beautiful noise, like a sonic eruption.

Outro:
You're the feedback in my guitar,
The distortion in my amp,
We're Sonic Youth, forever united,
In love, in music, in life, in a sonic symphony grand.

Complete and utter bobbins :D

Even worse. A song about helicopters in the style of Mark E Smith

Quote

Verse 1:
Up in the sky, high above the ground,
A helicopter's whirring sound,
I see it in the distance, coming closer,
Rotor blades slicing through the air, like a bulldozer.

Chorus:
Helicopters, they're a sign of the times,
Bringing aid, bringing war, flying so high,
Mark E Smith would sing about them, no doubt,
A symbol of power, of fear, of clout.

Verse 2:
I hear the chopper's engine, growling and loud,
It's a bird, it's a machine, it's a mysterious shroud,
Flying through the clouds, above the streets,
A symbol of technology, of might, of feats.

Chorus:
Helicopters, they're a sign of the times,
Bringing aid, bringing war, flying so high,
Mark E Smith would sing about them, no doubt,
A symbol of power, of fear, of clout.

Bridge:
I can see the world below, from up so high,
The hustle and bustle, the chaos and the sighs,
The helicopter's wings, they're a symbol of hope,
A way to get things done, to learn, to cope.

Chorus:
Helicopters, they're a sign of the times,
Bringing aid, bringing war, flying so high,
Mark E Smith would sing about them, no doubt,
A symbol of power, of fear, of clout.

Outro:
So let the helicopter fly, let it soar,
Through the skies, it will explore,
Mark E Smith would sing about them, it's true,
A symbol of our modern world, through and through.

:crylaugh:
