Every time i see that trophy, I initially think it's a tube of tennis balls.

It's predominantly yellow so assume it was designed by Heck....

Usually turns into a kiss of death after you win this, but The Don has broken every other hoodoo for us so far.

Kiss of death indeed. Hopefully not

He won it back in April, and our May didn't go too badly!

Absolutely love his passion. He ignites when talking about the game, what he expects and how to navigate it. He’s a phenomenon!

The really exciting thing is that level of expectation could be very oppressive for the players but in fact they seem to love it and respond well.

And when Emery is congratulated upon Manager of the Month, Emery stays classy and humble by saying it's for the staff, the club, the players and the fans.

Emery is self-effacing, again Villa are on the rise and this is only the beginning of hopefully a very long relationship together with him as the Manager.

Just watching the sky sports news interview with him. Legend. He speaks about Konsa and how he believes in him more than Konsa believes in himself ! And how he can be better going forward.

Has to be one of the nicest people in football. Always respectful, doesn't badger or criticise refs, doesn't moan about stuff if we don't win. Demands more from everyone, understands how important the fans are. He's humble and very very knowledgeable.

It will be a great day when we win something with Unai at the helm

He is the absolute opposite of Mikel Arteta.

His hair tells you everything you need to know about him. Too busy for a haircut. It's not about him in  any way.  Well, it is but on a personal level. He has a huge drive to succeed internally but not on a media level. Nothing matters more than winning football matches for Aston Villa Football Club. Not the project. Not injuries, not VAR.  Whatever the issue, he knows his job is to win. Thats it.

But he's not dry and boring either, very passionate - celebrates goals strongly and with the staff and players near him. Just a fabulous manager. Under "driven" in the OED, just stick a picture of Unai there.

When one of the reporters asked Unai if he expects Everton to defend deep, his response had me laughing out loud. It was something like, "we are anylising them, watching movies." I'm trying to think of a movie that resembles Everton's playing style.
