When Gerrard was sacked, 9 points from the first 11 games of the season was our joint second worst start in 28 PL seasons.

We have finished the season under Emery with our joint 5th best points total in 28 PL seasons.

The only 25-game runs in a single Aston Villa PL season that surpass Emery's 49 points were Atkinson in 92/93 (as much as 53 points in games 7-31) and O'Neill in 08/09 (51 points in first 25 games of that season)

51 in first 25 and not making top 4 is nasty work.

He's going nowhere. He's an honourable gentleman

Unai has been inspirational since he joined, honestly think he should be manager of the season, even without my claret and blue glasses on.

To take a team that was, frankly, a relegation candidate and get us to Europe, second only to Man City in 2023 is  phenomenal achievement.

With the full backing of Villa, from fans to players and owners, I really feel the sky is the limit. So exciting

What management of a run. Even after the wolves loss he remained consistent and got us over the line by the finest of margins. He’s been the absolute difference between us and spurs or Brentford. My god what can this guy achieve with a proper window. This is foreplay of the finest sort.

Like what happened with Grealish we would sign 3 managers to replace the 1 sold. Potter, Rodgers, and if avaliable Lampard.

I'd  go with Mourinho  for man management, bring back Slippy for coaching and Tim for tactics
