Yeah to be fair, both JJ and McGinn have been terrible at ball retention and passing in some of our poor games, so guilty to a large degree for overall poor performances.

However credit where it's due, they were both much improved on Saturday, both had very high pass completion rates and JJ made alot of dangerous runs.

So welcomed improvements, both players at their best are real assets.

It's just the consistency.

Totally agree,  we are trying to play a possession based game now,  under Smith we didn't,  most of our players from smiths reign are still here and playing,  so they are having to adjust,  it's less that 12 months for Gerrard,  fans need to give time,  look at artea,  it was over a season or 2 before he got arsenal playing how he wanted.

If the players can't play how the manager wants then they will be gone,  we need to trust the process,  Saturday's win will give the players confidence and hopefully we get another win against Palace to build on it.

Didn’t he have like an 87% pass rate from the w/e?????

One game on a consistent basis he is utter rubbish panics and petrified and unable to keep the ball, some fans haven't said he should be dropped on one bad performance he's been poor for plenty but he's steveis favourite.

If we're not willing to sign a new CB on a permanent basis, I think a loan for Trevoh Chalobah could be a good option. Reports are that Chelsea are open to this: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/aug/17/manchester-united-weigh-up-loan-move-for-chelsea-christian-pulisic

Have been impressed when I've watched him. He has very good passing stats and also has experience playing as a DM, should we need him to... https://www.premierleague.com/news/2663888

2 signings for me firstly a midfielder who can retain ball to play alongside kamara.

Secondly a CB either loan or small fee I'd like us to get Caleta-Car personally however if we don't get a CB aslong as the midfielder is signed I'm.happy.

How do you know?

He doesn’t. He thinks because we’ve not signed anyone recently there is no money.

Its likely we have been trying to sign players but have not got some of our first choices, and because we do business quietly, we are none the wiser.

Your spot on the ings and Chambers signings an example that we know nothing about are transfer dealings, I'll believe we're done when window shuts.
