El Ghazi was our second top scorer 2 seasons ago. Why does he need to go?

well said Mr Del, El Ghazi needs to be challenging Couts for the LW/AM slot, they are quite similar in ability, after all, Couts has also only ever scored 10 or more goals in a PL season once.

So......they are clearly players of the same quality due to this one, single stat.

note: El Ghazi scored 10 or more in 1/3 seasons, Couts did it in 1/6 seasons, so i might even be willing to debate that El Ghazi is twice as good.

Cannot move past Jonathan David as the best and most realistic forward available this summer. He has a hell of a lot of potential and could develop into a world class player. Similarly  to Leao, who after a kinda slowish start now looks the real deal. He’s worth the risk IMO and if it goes Pete Tong we can sell him to Villa Las Vegas.

I wasn’t too down on poss diving Suarez for a year, if fit enough and on the right wage as it would’ve given us a season to look for the right striker and hopefully finish in a position to attract them.

Because he's rubbish, greedy and a pen merchant

we dont play wingers but you know we all know Coutinho is technically better than Anwar but the lack of respect for Anwar from the management is farcical

2 seasons ago Anwar and Traore were involved in 25 goals between them and both have been ostracized, its pretty shitty

He scored just 3 more goals than Watkins in last 2 seasons and is a patch player. He scores in bunches but can go months without scoring

He scored 3 goals in 2022 and 2 in 2020 when he signed for Lille

Those are two very different cases.

El Ghazi got some minutes under SG and clearly SG didn't like what he saw. Furthermore, we know the club has tried to move him on because he was on loan for a while. Bert, on the other hand, was still hurt for most of SG's reign and got only a few minutes on his comeback. We don't know for sure what the club has been doing about him.

he played 40 minutes and got an assist and had a hand in winning the Brighton game then not used again

Not saying Anwar is a genius or something but for me its poor management that a guy is performing well and dumped completely
