Apologies if this has been covered in transfer thread but didn't see his thread anywhere. Edit: Seems a bit odd if we go out tonight as we'll just have the prem games but guess Gerrard dosen't think Steer is up to it and he could well move on this window. He dosen't look the most athletic keeper with his build but IIRC he did fine and West Ham's stats were pretty defence at the back with him in goal (think it was when they were battling relegation). 50 caps for ROI so Zat and other Irish lads on here can fill in more of the gaps on his strengths and weaknesses. He was one of the best keepers in the Championship when he was at Boro a few years back. Big upgrade on Steer and it's a loan... Another who'll be fondly remembered for his part in our promotion and unlucky with injuries since. He isn't anywhere near good enough. Everyone forgot how average he was in the Championship because of his playoff semifinal performance.
