Erm, so why tell them about Nakamba? It's legitimately about confidentiality, if the players don't want their family/ friends knowing they've got covid (believe me, some weird people out there and it happens), then the club can't say anything. An injury to nakamba doesn't affect anyone else so he's probably OK with them announcing it. I assumed the Nakamba story is just a cover for covid anyway. The timeframe they've given is exactly aligned with 10 days Isolation for covid. And it means when he's missing from the matchday squad noone will immediately go "he was one who had covid...". Rumours seem to suggest that although Gerrard said he won't be back this side of Christmas...it is likely to be longer than that. Guess we'll see.
