turvontour Posted January 18, 2021 Share Posted January 18, 2021 There's a real inconsistency of the awarding of yellow cards, which I suppose will never be solved as every incident is slightly different. Lascelles for Newcastle smashed through Lacazette on the edge of the box and didnt get booked and then did the same on the half way line, again not booked. The sky commentator said it's nice to see this referee not getting his cards out. But why, why is that good? If theres a booking worthy challenge it should be a card. Matic against us when he came on got away with deliberate foul after foul. If hed been booked for the first one he would have stopped doing it.
