Hornso Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 First penalty looked very harsh. No way a Premier League referee doesn’t blow for a foul on the striker first IMO. 1
useless Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 Birmingham Mail saying that Barry is back in contention for tomorrow's U23 game against Norwich. Also says that Jon Whitney is now part of the backroom staff, he was Smith's assistant at Walsall for a period and then was their first team manager between 2016 and 2018. 1
BOF Posted September 17, 2020 Author Moderator Posted September 17, 2020 Yeah saw that. One of the things I'm most looking forward to this season will be the progress made by Barry. Finding out just how good he is, and if he can get on or near the senior bench by season's end. 3
barry'sboots Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 I imagine if what Purslow says goes and it looks like it with the new signings, we have every chance of getting beaten fairly regularly. A load of 16 year olds up against 21, 22, 23 year olds and some overage players means that, even if they are the best 16 year olds in the country, we are going to struggle. But I absolutely get why he wants to be there and it is more important we are getting one quality player a year out of the youth system than winning youth cups. 1

Sam-AVFC Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 Is there anywhere to watch these online?

Coverage is limited to twitter updates and the OS "live" match thread, which is very similar to nothing but with a count of corners. 2 1
OutByEaster? Posted September 25, 2020 Moderator Posted September 25, 2020 We're 1-0 down, but we've had a few shots so we might be putting some pressure on. 1
useless Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 (edited) Barry on for the last ten minutes. Will be a disappointing result if we lose this, was anticipating a win. Edited September 25, 2020 by useless 1
