pas5898
Also worth noting, on X there's a lot of talk of attitude problems at Hull and previously at Villa. His performances dropped severely since his wonder goal and being linked with PL clubs. Our club aren't daft. We wouldn't sell a player (if he's that good) to then buy a replacement in Rodgers for 15 million. HalfTimePost
Hull sacked their manager. Fans aren't happy, believe they overachieved this year and manager being scapegoated because they dropped off toward end of the season, but seems as though they're pretty frustrated and thinks he's done a great job. Wonder how that'll impact Philogene-Bidace and whether he stays or not, have to imagine they'll be desperate to keep him but may impact him whether he decides to push for a move. Nuts move by the owner. Held in such high regard by the players. But thats football. His remit was minimum playoffs i guess and he failed to achieve that. Kuwabatake Sanjuro
Yeah Rosenior was the brains behind Derby overachieving in Rooney's time there too, a good manager that you could tell had a good football brain in his time as an EFL pundit.

Yes hopefully he gets another job very humble and as you said a good football brain
useless Posted Thursday at 14:13 Share Posted Thursday at 14:13 Athletic Villa accepted they could track his progress elsewhere but included a first option and a buy-back clause. It can be revealed that Villa have a matching clause for Philogene, meaning they have to be notified of any offer Hull receive this summer. At this stage, early interest has been shown from the Premier League and clubs abroad. Not sure what that means exactly but would appear we do in fact have some sort of buyback
Zatman Posted Thursday at 14:19 Share Posted Thursday at 14:19 Only means any bid accepted we can buy for the same price He doesnt have to return
useless Posted Thursday at 14:24 Share Posted Thursday at 14:24 We can do that without a clause, so there has to be more to it But I'm not sure we will be interested anyway if IlIng Jr signs, unless he's coming primarily as an attacking left-back option

Not sure what that means exactly but would appear we do in fact have some sort of buyback This was discussed (guessed at...) at length before! To me it means that if hull accept an offer from say crystal palace for £12m then we have the option to match it and if we do he would automatically be a villa player I'm not 100% sure how an offer and formal acceptance works in football but in theory without that clause hull would have no obligation to tell us they'd accepted the bid, hull would have no obligation to accept it and he would have no obligation to sign
