New Christian Kjellvander album "About Love and Loving Again" also out. Only listened to a few tracks but it's unmistakably a Kjellvander album, it's indie, Americana a bit Leonard Cohen but mostly it's very Christian Kjellvander.

Gotta plug my buddies new album. It's actually really quite good. Was recorded by Konie from Les Big Byrd (and previously Viagra Boys)

Think it might not be out in retail for another month thou...

Have to bump this post as the album is out today. Underground Fire - Ashes of Life. Strong hints of Sisters of Mercy, Billy Idol and even Type O Negative (maybe) with a 80's touch to it.

Another local act dropped a album today. Lykantropi - Tales to be Told.  That's more of a dreamy 70's prog rock but in an unmistakably (to me) Swedish take, they even have some songs in Swedish. It's quite good tbh.

Another one that came out a few weeks back: Mörk Gryning - Hinsides Vrede. Their first album in 15 years or so. It's Swedish black metal and that's what you get. It's pretty up-tempo :D

I forgot to post - I've had the album a little while now, and it's superb. Put it on a proper stereo, rather than iPod or whatever and it's epic. Different kinds of moods too. Really good stuff - One of my AOTY.

The first new System of a Down music in 15 years was released on Friday to raise funds for the current Armenian crisis.

Whilst the 2nd track is a little better, yeah not great...

I got told off for calling them Scars On Broadway b-sides. They're not good. The second one is better but they are not good.

I think I read that Malakian wrote both tracks so to call them Scars on Broadway b-sides is probably more accurate!

A solo project from my buddy Robert (turns out most of my friends named Robert are musicians). Some Radiohead vibes maybe? (Not listened to them since OK Computer so maybe not :D )

Saw them supporting Ghost in Nottingham last year. Jonathan Hultén has the most mesmerising stage presence.

Yeah definitely, he looks like he's having a lot of fun on stage too which is a bit unusual in their particular genre.
