Quite a lot of moves now happening elsewhere in the league; we've signed no-one and lost Petzelberger.

Anita Asante who played over 20 games for us last season has retired as well.

Anna Patten is a really good signing, very good and composed on the ball for a defender, helps us keep possession and build from the back.

Northern Ireland confirm that Simone Magill is going to miss the rest of the Euros and will have a scan to determine the full extent of her injury. Big shame for her, and potentially really bad news for us having only just signed her, we apparently tried to get in the last two windows as well, so just our luck that as soon as she signs she picks up what looks like could be a really bad injury.

That's such bad luck for her and us.  What a shame.  Hopefully scan suggests nothing long term.

In the topic of signing forwards, are there any on the euros that are likely to be available for a transfer that we might be keeping an eye on?

They should shorten the season or add more teams so there are more games.  At the moment some months only have 2 games and 1 month only has 1 game!

Do they just do loads of training between matches to keep match-fit?

Lots of footage of Mary Mcateer in that video, quite prolific for our U21s from what I can gather, maybe going to be promoted to the first team next season, Evie and Olivia Rabjohn there as well, both seem to be reguarls for England at youth level, with them plus Laura Blindkilde, Freya Gregory, and Olivia McLoughlin we've got some good youngsters coming through, I'm sure there must be others as well.
