If he keeps going at this rate he could  easily become top 3 in the all-time Scottish International goal scorers list. Law and Dalglish are on 30 which might be a stretch, but in 3rd is Hughie Gallagher on 23, which is more than achievable.

Decent chance he'd be on penalties if they were to get one as well.

Last few takers Dykes and Christie aren't nailed in the team. It'd be between players like him, Robertson, Gilmour...and McGinn's international record is stupidly good.

Incredible really when you think Ally McCoist over a twelve year international career, scored 19 goals.   Kenny Miller, again over a twelve year international career, scored 18 goals.

Really impressive from McGinn when you think he’s less caps than both as well.

He can easily get 30 unless he retires early from international football. He has probably another 50 caps in him

Took him until his 16th game to get off the mark so its 17 in 42 since then. Plus he is now playing as a forward so probably keep up with that ratio easily.

Played most of the game in the double pivot once we were in possession. Struggled to really take control of the game there.

He’s best closer to goal like Scotland but he’s not displacing Diaby. Think he will continue to be shuttled around to fill in gaps depending on the opponent.

Beginning to show some regression in his midfield play.  Not progressing the ball well and taking far to long to make the obvious play. Maybe switch him and Diaby, get him closer to goal. He needs something different, looks stale where he is at.
