Now, now let's be a little bit optimistic. If we can nick one goal on monday I think we have a great chance of pulling through since it's tough to score against us. Let's deny them the WC for once! :D

Italy have 2 really good strikers but looked toothless up front,  a Sweden goal could be enough as I dont think they can get 3

Sweden need to avoid parking the bus imo.

Yes get numbers behind the ball but I fancy them to nick one on the counter attack if they can get men forward.

It will be an interesting game to watch. It's not really in Italy's DNA to have to constantly push forward looking for goals, a 1-1 for them would've suited them down to the ground.

Odd looking at the Denmark squad the likes of Kasper Dolberg, Daniel Wass and Freddy Sorensen haven't been called up. They all play for decent clubs in europe. Dunno if it's injury or just out of favour.

Yussuf Poulsen of Leipzig only on the bench for them aswell.

Morroco beating Ivory Coast 2-0 btw so going to make first world cup since 1998.

They could be a surprise package, got some decent players in their team like Benatia, Belhanda, Ziyech and.....Karim El-Amadi.

Ivory Coast just got a poor selection atm, very hard to replace their golden generation.

The president of the Italian FA has called the FIFA president and demanded a good judicial effort for tomorrows game against Sweden as they felt they were badly handled by the ref last time out against Sweden :crylaugh:

MILANO. The Italian federal president has called the FIFA president and demanded a "good judicial effort" in the return.

The Italians were upset by the judges in the first playoff match at the Friends Arena.

League crew Gian Piero Ventura said immediately after the match:

"He allowed the game to be a bit too physical at the expense of the technical. Considering that one of our players probably broke his wall, maybe he did not really have the match in his hand, said the Italian.Called the Fifth President

The Italians have now acted on the highest level. According to La Gazzetta dello Sports Swedish correspondent Jennifer Wegerup, Italian federal chairman Carlo Tavecchio has called the Fifth President Gianni Infantino and complained that Ola Toivonen was not expelled and stressed that it is important to have a good judicial response tomorrow...

Surely this must be edging close to illegal behavior from Italy? Talk about putting pressure on the poor ref that will handle the game tomorrow.

Yes, the article has been Google translated.
