Totally unnecessary, but my Mum used to be up all night preparing Christmas dinner. I'd roll in pissed at about 3 am, and she'd be slaving away at it. Madness.

Yeah, I know what you mean. They do. But no way me or the missus would do it.

My missus has just got all the veg and potatoes sorted. Once the kids are out the bath and in bed it's food, drink and film time.  Going to watch Scrooge tonight for the 10th time .
