Well he hasn't done it so far under a fair few managers has he?

Elphick has forgotten more about being a CB than Clark knows.

Explains why Elphick is playing at the top of the premier league while Clark is in the championship. Oh wait....

Clark - 134 premier league games at age 26.
Elphick - 12 premier league games at age 28.

Let's hope Elphick will reach Clark's games for Villa and offer more than Clark has.

I can only assume you haven't watched a single game this season and didn't watch many of those 134 premier league games.

Gabby Agbonlahor - 322 Premier League appearances

Ross McCormack - 0 PL appearances

does this mean that gabby should be starting ahead of McCormack?

What does the current form/condition of a footballer have to do with their career achievements?

I'd say Gabby has had a better career. Wouldn't you?

For the game on saturday I'd choose McCormack. Is it that difficult?

You were suggesting that the fact that Clark has played more PL games at a younger age means that he is the better player, or have I inferred that?

As for the debate on Gabby's career, that's a path I'd rather not go down!

Not at all. Not currently.

I thought it was ridiculous for someone to say that Elphick had forgotten more about being a CB than Clark knows ( or something to that effect ) when one has had a long premier league career and the other has played in the lower leagues at the same time against much worse opposition. Don't like unnecessarily bashing ex players for the sake of it. It's bad taste imo.

1 injury to a defender puts Richards back in the team.

1 injury to a midfielder puts Gardener back in the team.

1 injury to a striker and we are relying on Andre Green.

Whilst our first 11 is strong, our squad depth is poor. I would like to see another 2 signings in each area of the field.
