You're right l, many do think it's safer on the streets than opposed to some of these Shelters. I'm not far from you down the road near Chester and it's rife here too with genuine homeless folk (not just your fake beggars who are only after the next 5er to be able to go and shoot up) Her tweet would have you think otherwise though. Must be exhausting work to be fair with the volume of it all. Yet, Johnson and Hancock are swanning about raking in millions of pounds without a care in the world. I really hope the long arm of the law catches up with them eventually. That was Piers Morgan’s line yesterday. Im not sure any laws exist with regards to elected officials making decisions which turned out to be wrong. Oliver Dowden’s comments on the latest scandal were somewhat hilarious yesterday. The allegation is that a current MP has raped multiple people, the police haven’t properly investigated the claims and the MP is continuing with impunity. Also that the Conservative Party are currently paying for a victim’s treatment / rehabilitation. The claim was made by Jake Berry MP who under Liz Truss was briefly in a position to know. Dowden on multiple channels stated he couldn’t comment because he didn’t know the name of the MP as the name wasn’t released. Now that begs two very big questions 1. How many MPs are currently suspected on rape that haven’t been named in public? 2. How many victims of rape are the Tory Party paying for? Course he does - apparently he was on the telly yesterday saying he knew that allegations it wasn't properly investigated and stuff weren't true.
