A major Conservative Party donor was listed as a director of a company secretly owned by a Russian oligarch close to President Putin.

The BBC has seen a document dated 2006 and signed "Lubov Golubeva", the maiden name of Lubov Chernukhin, a Tory donor.

No surprise. The gammons will vote for bunter by falling back on we have to wait for the Sue Gray report- which no doubt will be after the may local elections. By that time possibly the Ukraine war could be finished and all of this will be quietly dropped before they move onto the next crisis.

Great stuff from Ian Balckford just now. He made a great point about the danger of what Johnson has done/is doing becoming the new normal and the responsibility of MP's from all sides not allowing that to happen.

I think getting rid of Boris now would be a pyrrhic victory.

We all know he has a Churchill fixation and that he would probably view his dismissal as his opportunity to enjoy his "wilderness years", while he waited for the economic crisis and the immiseration of the next few years, to run its course, in the hope of returning in triumph with his sins forgiven.

He needs to be kept in place to ensure he bears all the blame for the unfolding economic catastrophe.

Not that any of them are standing in local elections!
