I understand your point, but it's our job to support.....that's all, despite our frustration, there is little else we can do. In your last paragraph i don't quite know what you are getting at? Are you inferring that i think the Premier League is better than the other Leagues?? If so you are incorrect. I actually think the Premier League is a pretty poor standard right now but i do think the game is faster and players get hussled and harried more than they would in other European Leagues so a pass completion rate in say France would not be a valid statistic in the Premier League due to the player having less time to pick the pass. But I don't want to rage that the players don't show the bottle for a fight and act just as feckless as they, at their worst. When they give up it pisses me off. I just want to hold myself to that same standard. Not giving up my dream and passion that Villa score and win every single match I'm not stupid enough to think that my positive thinking has some mystical spiritual purpose. Give 100% over a season and you're probably at least half way there. No coincidence that fat sam is telling players they're no longer required and our captain raises his concerns regards effort.
