'We can't play good football because of injuries'

So, Who would you say is helping us to play this good football? A player that has been out injured all season?

I think the manager has set them up to play this way. Not just contain, sit deep, try and keep the ball.

And Joe Cole has allowed him to do that, no?

The other players are not giving the ball away no?

Joe Cole has made others now able to pass and move forward.

He's playing well but I don't think he can influence 10 men that much.

They could always do it, they just don't usually have an outlet. If you are Westwood and Cleverley and you know you have Joe Cole ahead of you you know 9/10 the ball isn't coming straight back at you from the opposition.

He has. I don't think he's been injured all season though, I think he's been unavailable for two games.

You get what I mean though, Not being match fit might as well be injured. He is unavailable either way.

I also wonder whether Cleverley could provide that creative spark in a number ten role? Bacuna, Sanchez and Westwood in midfield, with Cleverley behind Gabby and Weimann. It could work.
