PaulC
Was a little underwhelmed myself. I thought we lost our attacking threat once Weimann went off.
ciggiesnbeer
He came on to old man the game. I thought in many ways he did that.

StefanAVFC
Did a perfect job really. We've missed that professionalism/nasty edge on the pitch.
Popular Post Skruff
As i've mentioned before, he completely ruins our attacking flow when he is brought in on the wide. I have no problems with him, it isn't really his fault, but Lambert clearly use him wrong. He should be played as backup for Benteke ONLY! Albrighton in for Lowton would have made much more sense to me. Using him wrong as in holding up the ball, slowing play down so we don't get countered against? Or winning free kicks and throw-ins to interrupt any play they have going, and waste time? Or closing down and putting pressure on the opposition, aiding our very tired midfield? Or helping the rest of our young players keep their cool, who in the past have a tendency to panic and give away the ball when we're in the lead and it's close to full time? Good sub, did exactly what was needed. Helped us grind out the win.
ForfarVillan
Came on at an awkward time for a striker but did his job. Calmed the game down and held it up
Big_John_10
What did he do that Bowery didn't do when he used to come on? Apart from getting booked for cheating.

StefanAVFC
Leadership is huge in football and we have no leaders in the 'other half'. Holt adds that professionalism and guile and is more than worth whatever he's on for 6 paltry months. People moaning about it are being ludicrous.
Bunnski
He looked bolloxed tired after 20 minutes of been on but fair play to him he really put himself about, was popping up all over the place.
ForfarVillan
I should clarify, I am not a Bowery hater as he comes on at difficult times which is never good for a guy trying to find his feet in the prem but just answering the question of what Holt did better
Big_John_10
What did he do that Bowery didn't do when he used to come on? Apart from getting booked for cheating.Held it up In 25 minutes he made 7 passes to a villa player. Bowery's last appearance he played 13 minutes and made 6 passes to a villa player and also had a shot on target. I'm not seeing a big difference. Harry
Thought he did a great job for us tonight, added a different dimension and gave us a bit of bite coupled with maturity. Money well spent IMO.

StefanAVFC
Are you deliberately missing everything that has been posted? We've just won, in a local derby, at home. Yet there's something else to moan about. Scenes.
