Ive just said in the CR thread, I can't believe we let Johnson go!

Last season he made 20 appearances in the league, 1 off the bench. He made 32 the season before. 27 in his first season. Out of the 114 PL matches in the past 3 seasons Ron has played 79 (missed 35). Combined thats almost an entire season. For someone that on our books and minds is a KEY player for us, who actually isn't brilliant and replaceable (unlike Benteke), should go! We need better for a key player. I know Benteke missed copious amounts of football but its slightly different with him, the guy is world class and shows he is a key player when back to fitness. Ron doesn't for me.

Its a question of how he plays with better players too I suppose. Grayson seems quite rigid in terms of his philosophy. Mason at Spurs went on loan everywhere and was almost deemed not good enough, and suddenly is now in their first 11. You just have to give these younger players a chance at PL level. I still can't believe we let Johnson.

This has p!ssed me off. Just disrespectful really, shame he didn't step up for half of last season. Too inconsistent for me, he gets caught sleeping and ball watching too often, more than people realise.

I know someone quite well in at the Albion and he said theres nothing happening at the moment regards to their takeover. Pulis told him he had never worked at such a well run club. Peace will 100% only sell to the right buyer. I don't get the same feeling with Randy.

One of the worst players I've seen this year. Granted played at full back a lot, but he's everything a Premier League defender isn't.

I think he'll be at United. RVP is on the way out, Falcao doesn't look to be returning, and Wilson will be loaned out.

Just a thought, if Benteke leaves for the fee of the clause, would anyone go and bid a joint 15-20 million for Rhodes and Gestede? I haven't watched them loads but they've scored a fair few and as a partnership seem to be working!

He's actually looked good since Tim took over. Not against Southampton or Burnley and i thought he was our worst player against Arsenal. Looked to me he wasnt even trying most of the time. Oh come on. One thing I can't complain about Cleverley is him not trying. No one showed up for any of the previous 3 games. Scapegoat Tom.

I predict by the end of this week we will know what is happening. It doesn't look good does it? The only shining light is we will hopefully have more money to spend on incomings, as our squad needs strengthening badly!

I'm happy with Timmy. I never bet on Villa but I put a tenner on after that Stoke game we'd get relegated, I was so certain of it. Proved me wrong, he's done a lot more good than bad!

Still stand by what I said at Everton away, and his attitude in that game when he walked off the pitch to be subbed. Never want to see him in a Villa shirt again. Never despised a player playing for our own team as much I don't think.
