Just curious, what exactly gave you that impression? A gut feeling if I am honest. It felt like he knew but didn't want to say too much. Said something could be announced at any time, which could tie with when the shop and ticket office becomes busier / open... to which I thought the kit is on sale this weekend and the ticket office officially opens next week (putting 2 and 2 together here I am on the basis of a bit of PR / ticket selling)... He probably knows jack shit ! And I certainly know jack shit!

Went in to the make shift ticket office today to get my season ticket refunded from an adult to student one... They didn't say as much but I guaged from what they were saying / reaction there may potentially be something announced next week. Take it with a pinch of salt all you like, but I got the impression that something is due, just nobody knows exactly when. As pointless as that sounds!

Both our best players leaving would be a nightmare. But whats pissing me off is the constant media speculation on both players when quite frankly it seems nothing actually seems to be happening. Thought I would be able to get them Friday, I've done 8 but my sister has done 7 so will probably have to wait till monday. However... when I have rang before they have definitely counted pre-season games aswell as Premier League games. Worth a gamble?

This is simply why he needs to play. We didn't create at the best of times last season, Bacuna is an assist provider. Coleman and Baines aren't the best defensively, going forward when on song are brilliant. I hope not, I don't think he's good enough. He's almost 24 and he's still 'raw'. That's not boding well. I'd rather haw a player who is 'raw' and be a bit exciting than some boring oldhead who doesn't take risks going forward.

This was completely my reaction. Our biggest transfer fee spent in the past few seasons was Nzogbia and Benteke wasn't it? Can't believe we are actually going to spend something! Beats trying to get excited over 3 free transfers last summer!

I think he was correct there, Dutch football is Championship standard at best IMO. Ajax have a nice big stadium but that's about it. Even Dutch people don't talk about Dutch football much. I think that's a bit harsh. It's not as good as a few years ago with players like Suarez, Vertonghen or Eriksen, but the top teams are still better than championship standards PSV's team is full of potential too. Like the left back Willems and attacking mid Maher. Not to mention Depay is at United. There is a big central striker too called Locadia, looks a bit of a beast, didn't have such a good goalscoring record last season mind. Dutch football is a lot better than the Championship. Wouldn't mind a couple of players from the Dutch league. After all, that is where Bouma came from!

First question. Is this kit you are referring to? Second question. Why on earth is Lincoln City your other team? Villa and Lincoln as your teams, do you have your missus stand on your balls in high heels too? This is the one! I am brummy born and bread but parents moved down here, still have family in Lincoln. Used to go to loads of Lincoln games with me Dad when I wasn't a STH at the Villa. Back to the kit, I think with what Delphinio said could be something similar, ISH! Lincoln is my second team too! University reasons for me, so much so it's the only football shirt other than Villa I've ever bought - the season they were sponsored by the Uni...and got relegated from the league! That was a horrible year and I was there when we were relegated, never seen my Dad so gutted. This is the year we return!
