  1. just had a cheeky fiver on andy burnham next PM @ 100/1. probably unlikely but good odds.
  2. it must be frustrating when so few tickets go to the clubs. we'd be raging too, just like we were about the 25k allocation for the FA cup final. would sony, heineken, etc really take their proverbial balls and go home if they got a few less tickets for the final? course they wouldn't...and if they did, they'd be another sponsor ready to come in and take their place. love em or hate em, maybe it does need a whingy big club like liverpool to kick up a stink for something to be done. if it was villareal in the final, no one would give a ****
  3. probably more than you'd think. man utd is a huge brand name. there's probably a pretty huge number of kids in man u shirts around the world that have no idea where they are in the league
  4. there was an article the other day saying he wants to leave and that a move to watford fell through in jan. i'm not reading too much into the new contract https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-10794293/Aston-Villa-hold-talks-Marseilles-Boubacar-Kamara-free-agent-eyes-England-move.html
  5. there are going to be minimum 7 outgoings this summer. wesley, trez, el ghazi, guilbert, targett, hause, davis. that's before you start talking about the probable outgoings of traore and sanson and the possible ones of chuk, luiz and konsa bringing the number up to 12. probably forgotten one or 2 others there too. that could easily be defined as an overhaul in itself. i don't know why you think he's going to sanction further outgoings.
  6. everton will get enough points from their last 5 games to stay up i also think leeds will get a win or 2 from their last 2 games burnley quite possibly won't take another point this season. they are surely favourites to drop
  7. gave him MOTM in the post match poll. thought he was outstanding.
  8. yep can't disagree here. i thought he was great. for a free transfer we have done well here
  9. i think more likely is that luiz will come in as an 8 and have tim/marv as the CDM even when sanson is 100% fit he doesn't get a look in. i cant see him starting when he's barely trained
  10. i see starmer is being investigated for beergate. this is a good thing. he's proven to have broken rules, resigns immediately, puts pressure on boris to do the same and also opens up for raynor to come in and take over he's proven not to have broken rules, still ends up looking better than boris and shuts down the argument that all the boris defenders have that starmer broke the rules too
  11. so with ramsey out what do we think? i'd like to see something like this. get mcginn further forward usual back 5 tim luiz coutinho mcginn buendia watkins ings
  12. i said we'd do the double over burnley and i stand by that. not going to be pretty, but going for 1-0 villa
  13. the problem is that last season's price was abnormally cheap. you were taking a family of 4 to a PL game for a total of less than £40. with respect, you must've known it wasn't going to be that cheap for ever
  14. i don't watch a lot of CL but as much as we complain about our refs, theres a fair bit of dross in europe too if tonights refereeing display is anything to go by
  15. i genuinely went for a shower at 1-0. missed the 2 goals
  16. parachute payments from a stint in the PL that they cheated to get into and they have the nerve to complain about hawkeye
  17. dont. i cant cope with them beating us again.
  18. nah to even be in this position is a great effort. they'd have known deep down playoffs was the most likely outcome. i'd still put them favourites
  19. bournemouth to a man have been excellent all 12 of them jammy feckers
  20. on offer for £41 at waitrose at the moment. bloody lovely
  21. it was. but it's May now so if both were still here, jack would've been having his annual 3 months out injured and we'd have just watched us draw 0-0 to norwich because we can't do anything without him. not saying i don't miss those days, but there were some frustrating times in amongst the good stuff. and we're still local...we've just given an 18 year old from great barr his first PL start
  22. it's a huge game, but the onus very much is on forest to attack. a point for bournemouth is OK tonight. i'm not expecting a goalfest
  23. to be fair if cash's goals counted it wouldn't matter anyway as his goals came in games where other players also scored (i think?) interesting though.
