he deserves to go somewhere he's appreciated IMO. any team outside the scum 6 would snap him up in a heartbeat and yet the slightest hint of an error and it's "move him on in the summer", totally ignoring all the great games he's had this season (which have far, far outweighed the bad) and as recently as the 3 games prior to last night he was one of the best players on the pitch careful what you wish for folks...we can't attract better than him right now do we need better if we want to get top 4? that's a debate for another day, when we're remotely close to it.

i think this is where many disagree. he doesn't 'always' have a mistake in him. it's not just 'on his day', it's most days that he's a good (great) defender. last 3 games in particular before last night he's been excellent.

tough one. villa fan buys a membership with no previous booking history and we end up playing liverpool first game of the season it means they can't go. it's not like it isn't commonplace. i guarantee we had a few in the home stands at burnley last saturday...evidenced by the kid that ran from the home end to grab mcginns shirt at the end. i know plenty of people who have sat in the home end of southampton/bournemouth cause they couldn't get tickets for the villa end.

spending this money on another player is much more of a gamble. we're talking similar figures to what we paid for traore, sanson, and targett it's a no brainer those against this signing i'm afraid are going to be disappointed, because it sounds like the i's and t's are being dotted and crossed at the moment

oh and gave gerrard a poor rating for the nakamba sub. moving luiz to CDM when there were 2 better 6's on the bench potentially lost us the game

it must be frustrating when so few tickets go to the clubs. we'd be raging too, just like we were about the 25k allocation for the FA cup final. would sony, heineken, etc really take their proverbial balls and go home if they got a few less tickets for the final? course they wouldn't...and if they did, they'd be another sponsor ready to come in and take their place. love em or hate em, maybe it does need a whingy big club like liverpool to kick up a stink for something to be done. if it was villareal in the final, no one would give a ****

there are going to be minimum 7 outgoings this summer. wesley, trez, el ghazi, guilbert, targett, hause, davis. that's before you start talking about the probable outgoings of traore and sanson and the possible ones of chuk, luiz and konsa bringing the number up to 12. probably forgotten one or 2 others there too. that could easily be defined as an overhaul in itself. i don't know why you think he's going to sanction further outgoings.

everton will get enough points from their last 5 games to stay up i also think leeds will get a win or 2 from their last 2 games burnley quite possibly won't take another point this season. they are surely favourites to drop

i think more likely is that luiz will come in as an 8 and have tim/marv as the CDM even when sanson is 100% fit he doesn't get a look in. i cant see him starting when he's barely trained
