  1. Personally think they're both superb options for any top half club. I wouldn't be upset if we signed either or both, just not sure where they'd fit in with our current options.
  2. I've got a Slow Cooker but very unfortunate memories of an ex girlfriend who would make 5 different stews a week, all of which tasted the same but with different meat in them. Lovely in winter, a bit of a a bum deal in the height of the summer. What's the science behind it? At what point does it become too low to cook, regardless of time? I've never understood cooking. If you got two items, one needs 210c for 20 minutes and one needs 170c for 20 minutes, how are you supposed to cook them in the same oven? This feels like one of life's biggest problems that's never been resolved.
  3. If something needs to be cooked at 200c for 20 minutes, does it cook through the same at a lower temp over a longer time? Likewise, a higher temp, at a shorter time? And if you cooked it for ten minutes, at correct temp, let it cool to room temp, and then cooked at 200c again for another ten minutes, would it be cooked right? In other news, I'm not sure I should have eating those Crispy Pancakes earlier.

Mate, a humungous achievement, I used to run and would struggle with 2.6 miles at the minute and I don't think I'm particularly unfit, so I've nothing but respect sir. I hope you tell every single person about it for the next 12 months until you do it again next year, because I know you got that bug Nothing but the highest level of respect my man.

    Liverpool

He's a poundshop Morinho - At least Jose got the titles he deserved. Klopp's career has come in a very different time too, okay we've got City up there, but it's hardly like it was under Fergie, Wenger and Jose. He's a rat, he lost his head years ago, he's been found out and now he's flapped. Shouldn't ever be consider in the top 10 Premier League managers ever. Glad he's going. Whiney ratbag.

Fair play mate, time isn't important in the slightest, you've achieved something that very few ever could. Dedication, commitment, strength, stamina to say the least. Nothing but respect mate, well done.
  7. The old science experiment, Iron filings and a magnet
  8. They've got a few duds in that squad, they're gonna be looking for a new manager, they're gonna have silly expectations, Salah is getting older and older, VVD hasn't looked great since his last big injury, Jota is looking more and more like a crock these days, they're gonna drop like a stone and I can't wait. rocket polishers.
  9. Imagine the big farewell season and you spaff it against your hand-holding neighbours who were destined to go down anyway. Wanky bastards got everything they deserve. Klopp is a fraud.
  10. Do like the sound of this, but I always find new 'additions' to the game to be problematic for the first year, so I think I'll try it in FM26 when it's fixed
  11. Post of the Year nominee. Excellent work Follyfoot.
  12. As much as I like JJ for his club connections, I think we might have found someone on par here, maybe even a better player.
  13. I've experienced one once for a company that worked in Car Finance. Small company in terms of personnel, big in terms of turnover. The role was a financial analyst, which, as long as you understand the business, can be quite a lonely job with very little interaction with other humans, and this wasn't an entry level job by any stretch. And it was absolutely bullshit, it was almost as bad 'if you were a breakfast cereal, which breakfast cereal would you be'. I read the first three questions and then withdrew from the process. I'm not being judged on that shit when I have almost 20 years experience in what I do at every level and type of business. No chance.
  14. I'm completely and utterly against the court case, but there must be some Legal Eagle out there that thought this was worth the investment of time and money? I'm not sure how, or why, but to raise something like this, whether Cardiff get the answer they want or not, will only damage their reputation to a point of being 'ultimate scumbag' status?
  15. Can you sell it in 20 words please? I'm terrible with good TV, but you've really sold Shogun in this thread, and I don't want to Google it in case it ruins things. And BTW, tell me to piss off if that's too cheeky. Thank you.

I thought my French was decent. Went to Lille, was talking to an English girl for an hour, a cockney sort, and her male mate too, clearly American. They were both French, but one learnt English in London, one learnt 'American' in San Diego. They were the most French people I've ever known. I genuinely nearly brought a second hand car off her and a trip to California off him. The fella said it was the accent and the 'rolling of the Rs' in his California accent, drinking Belgium beer, with a Cockney sounding French fancy, one brummy and one black country lad. Christ, that must've sounded like a deaf orchestra at some point.
  17. As much as I'd love that, I'd rather see Unai from 11 different angles. Yes, I said it. Bring the Kenneth. I'm proud.
  18. I have too. I don't think he's 'shit' by any stretch, but I expected a lot more from him this season, although I think he might be finding a bit more form again now.
  19. Pub sports and the damage of the second beer. Went to Sixes recently in The Mailbox, fantastic evening out, first beer I was like Joe Root, Brian Lara, KP. I couldn't miss, I was scoring runs for fun. One of the staff came over and said 'Sorry mate, no professionals', I said 'I'm not buddy' and he said 'well you should be'. Second beer in, good god I couldn't hit the **** ball. SECOND beer. What the **** is that about? Also see Darts and Pool for similar pub sports that are ruined by a second beer.
  20. I've no idea why but Bannan is always gonna be one of my favourites, even if he was a bit mental off the pitch. Fair play to him, 400 games for any club is incredible, and I know a Wednesday fan that genuinely adores him.

    Louie Barry

Touches his nose a lot. Genuinely hope he turns out to be a good 'un, that goal against Liverpool will forever be etched into my brain.
  22. His link up with Oli yesterday gave me a semi. They looked like they'd played together for years, not just for 4 months. I can see them becoming a ridiculous pairing for many years to come.

I will die on this hill but Garmin heart rate monitors, GPS, watches - amazing. If you wanna train properly, get yourself a good heart rate monitor.

    Unai Emery

So true, such a breath of fresh air, and I couldn't be any more of a fan of it. Emery is such a breath of fresh air, and also working magic that no other manager could even get close to. What a man. There are no heroes, there are no superstars, there is a team and coaching staff that do every single thing they can to be the best, and it's amazing.
