  1. I did! Horace was so good. I loved it. It was such a good experience and constantly heartwarming/fun/surprising.
  2. It looks fine for me. It's a bit different, and I like it that they're branching out with different types of stories. That's only going to enrich the huge world they've been creating. Though I appreciate it could still end up climaxing with a predictable cgi punch up.
  3. I'm from Tiverton and I like swimming pools. I have swum in two swimming pools there.
  4. It's all out in the open clear as day. If anyone just looks at what the Tories said in the past about the Brexit deal and then compares it to the utter shit they are spouting now, every single person who believed them/supported Brexit can no longer ignore the bare facts that they were lied to and were massive suckers. It was obvious anyway, but now it's all there right under their noses. And the Tories only ever have one schtick—bullshit the gullible. It should be over for them, but unfortunately it won't be, and that is extra depressing.
  5. I've never wanted to punch my laptop so much.
  6. I kind of thought Moon Knight was pretty awful and Dr. Strange 2 was a bit of a letdown. Dr. Strange was trying to do too much, while Moon Knight was trying to do too little.
  7. I always just think Sanson must be sad when Carney comes on and Morgan doesn't get a sniff. I think he has more to offer at the moment. Smith really liked to stack players up in positions where we have options (but of captain hindsight here).
  8. He looked great with the interceptions. He read the play really well...he often seemed to be on the move before the opportunity was really obvious. He did then lose the ball once or twice, but if he can just stick to simpler passes he has a lot to offer. I was impressed (admittedly I couldn't concentrate on the game 100% so I might have missed something).
  9. I feel as if I want to say 'that's on you'. But you clearly enjoy reading. I myself spent four hours at home listening to audio books and podcasts just this Friday at home. I can concentrate a hell of a lot better when I'm not crammed into a bus (as I am right now). I think it's a bit much to say you wouldn't get 'any' of those thousands of hours back. And, well, it's good to have the discipline to get up early and people who do shouldn't be logic punished by people who wouldn't!
  10. For me it's the time you get back—think about all the wasted time commuting over years. You get all of that time back for yourself. If you have only a 30 minute commute each way over a year you'd get back about 250 hours. Over only 30 years that would be 7500 hours of your life back in your own hands. That's huge. EDIT: for me there is a balance to be struck, and at least working from home 50% of the week would save companies money on rent etc. and gives people the best of both worlds.
  11. For me it's not about his DNA, it's that Gerrard doesn't have a Grealish in the team (if I'm comparing those games last year under Smith). Even with Buendia/Coutinho, they're just not as quick and direct as Grealish was (not saying he was quick, but he was quicker). He was so effective for us. If Bailey was actually quick or fit and more the player we all imagined he was then maybe we'd be more effective on the counter.
  12. I'll take this: a Grealish own goal giving us a 1-0 win over City, giving us a better finish than last year and also handing Liverpool the title. I do understand why he left, but that would be pretty funny.
  13. It's strange isn't it that when your employees don't wear themselves out with a two-way daily commute they actually have more of a chance to recuperate and keep happy and on good form. For me WFH has been a revelation, and I am more productive for sure as I have more good quality preparation time.
  14. I quite like them. The home reminds me of the, I think, first Nike kit and it's just nice not to have weird shoulders like the one this year.
  15. Grealish for us I meant. I should have been more clear.
  16. Hasn't their output been about half of Grealish's too? Genuine question! (Talking about Grealish last year)

The goal is Ming's fault for me. He's too deep. Or it's both their fault. Either way, they were hardly playing as a unit in that moment. But surely it's on the last man to make sure they're level.
  18. Calum Chambers wasn't on the pitch. And did you mean to quote a comment from February!!
  19. This isn't about Picard because I only watched the first episode this season. Although it was actually Ok in that episode the people who make that show are idiots. I looked at the title of the thread and it reminded me of one of my first bugbears with Discovery (quickly it was everything about it)...99% of the characters in that show were American. They seemed like a group of people you could imagine seeing in any one moment in a New York coffee shop. Obviously it was diverse in one way, but really it wasn't. Star Fleet isn't just Americans and one random working together. It was some weird parallel dimension version of Star Trek, or like a coffee shop version of a Galaxy-Quest-accidentally-end-up-in-space story. They didn't behave 'Star Fleet' at all on top of that. (I know there was an alien and Michelle Yeoh and a robot lady) I just wanted to say that. I know I'm about 5 years late!
  20. This too! (What I said in the last post)
  21. Classic 'I put my faith in the Tories and realise they're shit, so I'm going to blame all of politics rather than admit maybe I backed the wrong horse.'
  22. If we sign him I hope he starts making more of an impression on games than he has recently!
  23. It does. It looks pretty great in that trailer tbh. Hopefully it's better than the rubbish Boba Fett!
