  1. For me it's not about his DNA, it's that Gerrard doesn't have a Grealish in the team (if I'm comparing those games last year under Smith). Even with Buendia/Coutinho, they're just not as quick and direct as Grealish was (not saying he was quick, but he was quicker). He was so effective for us. If Bailey was actually quick or fit and more the player we all imagined he was then maybe we'd be more effective on the counter.
  2. I'll take this: a Grealish own goal giving us a 1-0 win over City, giving us a better finish than last year and also handing Liverpool the title. I do understand why he left, but that would be pretty funny.
  3. It's strange isn't it that when your employees don't wear themselves out with a two-way daily commute they actually have more of a chance to recuperate and keep happy and on good form. For me WFH has been a revelation, and I am more productive for sure as I have more good quality preparation time.
  4. I quite like them. The home reminds me of the, I think, first Nike kit and it's just nice not to have weird shoulders like the one this year.
  5. Grealish for us I meant. I should have been more clear.
  6. Hasn't their output been about half of Grealish's too? Genuine question! (Talking about Grealish last year)

The goal is Ming's fault for me. He's too deep. Or it's both their fault. Either way, they were hardly playing as a unit in that moment. But surely it's on the last man to make sure they're level.
  8. Calum Chambers wasn't on the pitch. And did you mean to quote a comment from February!!
  9. This isn't about Picard because I only watched the first episode this season. Although it was actually Ok in that episode the people who make that show are idiots. I looked at the title of the thread and it reminded me of one of my first bugbears with Discovery (quickly it was everything about it)...99% of the characters in that show were American. They seemed like a group of people you could imagine seeing in any one moment in a New York coffee shop. Obviously it was diverse in one way, but really it wasn't. Star Fleet isn't just Americans and one random working together. It was some weird parallel dimension version of Star Trek, or like a coffee shop version of a Galaxy-Quest-accidentally-end-up-in-space story. They didn't behave 'Star Fleet' at all on top of that. (I know there was an alien and Michelle Yeoh and a robot lady) I just wanted to say that. I know I'm about 5 years late!
  10. This too! (What I said in the last post)
  11. Classic 'I put my faith in the Tories and realise they're shit, so I'm going to blame all of politics rather than admit maybe I backed the wrong horse.'
  12. If we sign him I hope he starts making more of an impression on games than he has recently!
  13. It does. It looks pretty great in that trailer tbh. Hopefully it's better than the rubbish Boba Fett!
  14. I'm actually Tiverton born and bred!! I don't mind a tractor or two.
  15. I'm pretty sure this was part of the story from day 1. Months before it reached the UK.
  16. I watched a YouTube interview with Owen saying this happened to him pretty early in his career, and he basically stopped trying to reach full speed and stopped running on to balls. It's crossed my mind too. Having said that though, one of my first impressions of Bailey was being disappointed at his lack of pace back in his first few games. Then I think the only time he's really got some speed going was when he injured himself.
  17. We bought two more right sided attackers (Buendia, Bailey) when we lost a left sided attacker, who was also our best player. The madness was two fold in overstocking the right side of attack while completely neglecting the left, so I think we did need to buy more attackers...we just bought them in the wrong position. Maybe three fold when Ings is included...prioritising another striker over our biggest glaring gap. It's a mistake that cost Smith his job and has the club wasting millions on superfluous players. (Admittedly Traore and Bailey have been injured a lot, so clearly some depth on the right has been necessary!)
  18. Indeed! Sanson's lack of chances when he's looked pretty good every time he plays is terrible.
  19. I saw something yesterday about them permitting the use of 'liar'. In fact, says so here: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/boris-johnson-liar-speaker-commons-parliament-b2062420.html
  20. I believe Serco, Mears Group and Clearsprings, three private companies, make an awful lot of money putting asylum seekers up in these places and charging us for the pleasure.
  21. Well, there's this... https://medium.com/short-history/singer-from-music-band-abba-was-born-in-the-horrific-nazi-project-fe6f6ce9af5f

    Keinan Davis

To be fair you've made this thread your own personal anti-Keinan thread multiple times before.
