He thinks saying deals are done is funny for some reason.
  2. He said 48% of the people knew what they voted for. So which group got 48%? (And off topic, just saying 'Immigration' kind of just sounds like the vague non descript bs the likes of the Daily Mail use to wind people up—maybe that's part of your point though. However that wasn't the reason for any of the leave voters I know except that one guy who was angrily against living next to Muslims in his quiet little country road in rural Devon).
  3. I enjoyed the first two like you, and I didn't like 3 and 4 for your reasons. Then I thought the last two were more of the same as 3 and 4—it was a big let down imo!
  4. Maybe this is a good example of not judging a player too quickly. And there's me thinking 30 minutes was more than enough! A lot of people on here do worse every year with our new signings (postively and negatively tbh) Yeah I think he looked a bit clumsy in my small sample, but I clearly didn't see much at all.
  5. Genuine impression. I only watched near the end though. I can't remember exactly what it was about him—I'd never heard of him before and genuinely thought he stood out as bad!
  6. He looked rubbish in the 30 or so minutes I watched of the Uefa League final last week.
  7. I think Luis would have expected better from Mings there. I thought Mings was great in that game, but that touch by Mings is neither a pass or a clearance, and it's a shame. I wish he'd just leathered it! That's not on Luis—at worst maybe a bit of fatigue from the both of them.
  8. My what if for yesterday is him coming on instead of Nakamba. Coutinho gave us a lot of composure on the ball, which disappeared completely without him. In Nakamba we put on pretty much Coutinho's opposite player. Sanson might have given us some fresh legs while maintaining some of that composure and quality. I'm pretty disappointed in how we've used him. It seems like a massive waste.
  9. So many over dramatic comments.
  10. This has been a bit of a weird season in many ways. There's a lot I like about Gerrard and he's clearly here to stay for now, so despite some disappointing moments too, I personally just hope they have a great transfer window and we kick on and have a good season next season. He's going to stay and he's going to be given money to spend, so what other choice is there but to go with it for now. This season was messed up first and foremost by our shitty summer transfer window. Obviously one big factor was out of our hands, but we came into 21/22 with a crazily off-kilter squad having lost our captain and best player by a mile. Bailey has only been a massive letdown, we had nobody to play on the left, conundrums abounded with how to fit both Ings and Watkins and so on. It cost Smith his job. Maybe Smith wasn't a big enough name to bring in the kind of players we needed to replace Grealish. Hopefully Gerrard will do better—and to be fair, getting Digne and Coutinho (granted, Gerrard's mate) is possibly a positive hint that he can. Nobody knows, but we are going to see if he can whether we like it or not!
  11. Ah, the Russia Report technique. Well it works for them clearly.
  12. Is there a statute of limitations with these things? 43 years seems a long time.
  13. Yeah it's one of my favourite Switch experiences. Probably in the too three with BOTW and Hollow Knight. I actually 100% it...I got all million junk and everything. I think it's worth it!
  14. Haha tbh, after I wrote that I thought maybe I'd got the wrong end of the stick. All I heard was Tiverton and swimming pools and I got excited!
  15. I did! Horace was so good. I loved it. It was such a good experience and constantly heartwarming/fun/surprising.
  16. It looks fine for me. It's a bit different, and I like it that they're branching out with different types of stories. That's only going to enrich the huge world they've been creating. Though I appreciate it could still end up climaxing with a predictable cgi punch up.
  17. I'm from Tiverton and I like swimming pools. I have swum in two swimming pools there.
  18. It's all out in the open clear as day. If anyone just looks at what the Tories said in the past about the Brexit deal and then compares it to the utter shit they are spouting now, every single person who believed them/supported Brexit can no longer ignore the bare facts that they were lied to and were massive suckers. It was obvious anyway, but now it's all there right under their noses. And the Tories only ever have one schtick—bullshit the gullible. It should be over for them, but unfortunately it won't be, and that is extra depressing.
  19. I've never wanted to punch my laptop so much.
  20. I kind of thought Moon Knight was pretty awful and Dr. Strange 2 was a bit of a letdown. Dr. Strange was trying to do too much, while Moon Knight was trying to do too little.
  21. I always just think Sanson must be sad when Carney comes on and Morgan doesn't get a sniff. I think he has more to offer at the moment. Smith really liked to stack players up in positions where we have options (but of captain hindsight here).
  22. He looked great with the interceptions. He read the play really well...he often seemed to be on the move before the opportunity was really obvious. He did then lose the ball once or twice, but if he can just stick to simpler passes he has a lot to offer. I was impressed (admittedly I couldn't concentrate on the game 100% so I might have missed something).
  23. I feel as if I want to say 'that's on you'. But you clearly enjoy reading. I myself spent four hours at home listening to audio books and podcasts just this Friday at home. I can concentrate a hell of a lot better when I'm not crammed into a bus (as I am right now). I think it's a bit much to say you wouldn't get 'any' of those thousands of hours back. And, well, it's good to have the discipline to get up early and people who do shouldn't be logic punished by people who wouldn't!
