that was a joke, was 100% not offside. The only thing i would say, is the whistle went and i wonder if the keeper half went for it, and might have got to it if the whistle wasnt blown. regardless, good shot.

Genuinely. A better manager (ie: a genuinely top level manager, or a manager that has the ability to actually move us onwards and upwards). Better recruitment & scouting (although we have actually had high levels of investment in the squad, it has been very hit and miss, with some real hits, but also some huge misses, we have also missed out on many good players that teams around us seem to be able to pluck from nowhere, where we seem unable to do so). I really do think the infrastructure and investment has been there/is there, i just think we are failing on those two key points i noted above.

i dunno, im not saying we would get him, but...... Our squad alone, under the right manager is a mid table team, maybe upper mid table on a good day, we have a net spend of 25/30m over the last 2 years, if we said we guarantee 100/150m spend in the next couple of windows, he might be interested. I know he is seen as a CL manager, but he took over Spurs when they were average and took them on and developed them, maybe he might be interested in doing the same here. I dunno, just thinkin out loud.

good excuse for Gerrard not to play him, like he prob wont play Bednarek, Sanson, Luiz, one from Buendia or Couts, Digne prob wont get dropped for his poor form (for Augustinsson), Cash cant be replaced for his poor form as we have a guy who is 9000 years old as his backup. We need to get this guy out of the club.
