Apparently the Brazilian transfer window is open until 31st March (the pre-season window), interesting, but unlikely i guess.

not sure if true, but i read somewhere that as he is injured, being left out of Watford's squad means he isnt entitled to "full" medical treatment, meaning his injury wont be treated as expertly as if he were in their squad. The mediation is something to do with allowing Villa to recall him so we can ensure he gets proper treatment or something. As i say, unsure if true, or what the actual score is, its a weird one though.

hasnt Chrisene come back to Villa due to a serious knee injury? There is some hoo-ha about Hause's loan also i think (something to do with Watford possibly not registering him for their squad after the Jan window, or something).

Gordon will suit them. They can sit back more and hurt on the break with players like ASM, Gordon and isak, even wilson. I'm not saying Gordon is an amazing player, but his traits (speed and quick ball progression) will suit them perfectly I'm sure.

Quite probable, Lange always did appear to me the double agent type, maybe he is here under the pay of Manure to destroy the Villa slowly, Agent Lange.

maybe we are just aiming too high with players and the deals arent coming off? Maybe "bigger teams" have pipped us to a couple of our desired signings? Maybe the player(s) we want just arent available in Jan?, or cost too much due to Jan inflation? maybe its just a very difficult window to get the calibre of player(s) emery wants? Maybe we are trying a little too hard not to waste money like we have in the past? Maybe we have an agreement internally that if we cant get a certain calibre of player, we dont pull the trigger? maybe we arent trying too hard in Jan as we are planning for a big summer? Maybe we will bring 1-2 big signings in by close of play tomorrow? maybe is some or all of the above? maybe its none of them
