  1. "Rizz" is kinda awful but is much better than "the drip" which is the latest trending phrase and is apparently the thing you want to have. Means being cool or having swag etc.
  2. Pope dislocating his shoulder has got to be a blow for them.
  3. I'm assuming he would have technically been a contractor and not an employee. His taxes would have been his affairs. That's before you even get into any other accountancy tricks.
  4. Disagree all you want but can you offer scientific evidence to justify your position or are you using personal anecdotal evidence instead of basic scientific fact? At a base level, calories are energy and keto massively reduces calories, which is why you lose weight. If you eat less energy then you have less energy to use. Entering ketosis will burn some fat but this will not give you more actual energy then eating more would. As I said, you feel sharper mentally, physically you will have less energy. This is a trick of the brain and linked to blood sugar levels. Try going for a long run or doing a full body heavy weight exercise without eating sufficient amounts in the last 24 hours. Too many people dont actually push themselves properly at the gym. Cold water therapy can be helpful for rehab and getting the blood pumping (which bring nutrients to fatigued muscles) but it's just the latest fashion.
  5. Isn't he only getting a 25% stake of Utd? They'd use that argument that he isn't in charge.
  6. Not technically true. You can feel more alert and like you have more energy, but physically you don't. You might not get the sluggish feeling you get from a carb heavy meal but you have drastically reduced your calorific intake and carbs are the traditional 'energy' macro. As such you won't actually have more energy for physical activity than before. I've done long intensive workouts both in and out of ketosis. There's a reason my caffeine intake shoots up when I'm cutting.
  7. Pickford's arms aren't long enough to reach the top shelf.
  8. I'm curious what the Saudi's would want to happen and if the PL (or UK government) would listen to them over Qatar? Would City being given a big enough penalty to knock them off top spot then allow Newcastle to take their place faster? Or, would Saudi not want them severely punished as that sets the precedent for them to bend the rules even more than City did?
  9. https://iapp.org/news/a/uk-gdpr-reforms-move-forward-in-uk-parliament/ "On 29 Nov., the proposed U.K. Data Protection and Digital Information Bill moved a step closer to passage. The U.K. House of Commons voted to avoid recommitting the bill following the recent introduction of U.K. government-backed amendments, instead moving the proposal to the report stage of consideration. If the recommittal vote succeeded, the bill and its proposed changes would've moved back to the committee debate. The bill, originally published 8 March — the first day of IAPP's Data Protection Intensive in London — seeks to make various reforms to the U.K. General Data Protection Regulation and Data Protection Act 2018." Some good, some bad, but feel it'll just be rewritten by Labour when they get in anyway.

  11. Give them back. Even if it's a ridiculously long loan (100/200 years or whatever) from the museum (if it's easier to avoid having to change the law stopping them being given back). I do wonder though if other countries/museum's get these same issues or is it just Britain?
  12. Except Saudi don't own the clubs. They've got a bit of paper that they made that explains it.
  13. It becomes a self fulfilling prophecy though. They only talk about a select group of clubs as those draw the most clicks, those clubs continue to draw the most clicks as that's all they've talked about previously and it's helped those clubs to benefit financially (from growing numbers of plastic/overseas fans).
  14. Think I'll pass on spending the day hunting for deals. https://www.which.co.uk/news/article/98-of-black-friday-deals-arent-the-cheapest-price-of-the-year-aey1d9q3h1Bu "98% of Black Friday 'deals' aren’t the cheapest price of the year" "Which? research has found that only 2% of products in the 2022 Black Friday sales were cheaper than at other times of the year. We analysed more than 66,000 prices in the six months before and after last Black Friday to see how their sale day prices compared. "
  15. I know. But you kinda have to post an IT Crowd gif if the opportunity arises.
  16. People won't care until it directly affects them. Until then they'll happily buy the Hollywood fairytale. Opinions will change when they're in the Championship and getting bigger sponsorship deals than we do.
  17. Just seen the rumour in the other thread. I was close with my guess if it's true as Everton and Sheff Utd are in the relegation zone.
  18. I'm guessing the club's are Newcastle, City (similar position with large group and won't want to annoy SA), Chelsea, then it'll be the clubs in and around the relegation zone. They won't give a toss about Newcastle's European challenge and the top end of the table and they can then loan players in some PIF club's to try and stay up. Except of course all the clubs around them will do the same. I'd be surprised if we did. Whilst we have linked club's we'd more likely be loaning players out then in. Anyone we'd want we'd probably look to buy outright.
  19. When one club spends more than the rest of the league put together how does that not destabilise the finances of the league? But I'm done trying to talk to people about it as it doesn't register at all. Just going to sit back and watch
  20. Try it with this one change and it might make sense. Although I expect it won't and the similarities will be discounted.
  21. Certain people have bought into the fairytale and won't hear any word against the narrative they choose to believe. Don't know if it's just the media/marketing spin or if it's because of who their owners are and they bizarrely see them as mates in some way. They've done some good for Wrexham, that can't be denied. However they've also distorted the lower leagues and caused problems for clubs down there who really don't need it. Will be very interesting to see if opinions change in a few year's when Wrexham are in the Championship signing top flight player's and getting shirt sponsors for top 6 money.
  22. Maybe some of the poster's on here are actually AI. Might explain a lot.
