  1. Rumours of a covid outbreak in the Norwich team now too.
  2. The Spurs rearrangements aren't likely to be anytime soon and are February at the earliest I believe (depending how they do in the Cup). Ben Crellin was talking about it last week. I've ditched mine and will get them back nearer the time. I was tempted by Silva but I think he'll drop in form a bit as he's massively over achieving off expected goals and assists (a lot more then even Gundo was last year) at about 145% I think. Gundo is doing well form wise but isn't starting regularly. I decided to go with Bowen for certainly of starts and decent fixtures.
  3. Feel the same. We always book a weekend away at the coast for mid-February so we have something to look forward to in January.
  4. The only other thing that I would advise to @PieFacEor any new Dad is based off some of my friends experiences and not to be worried if you don't bond with the baby straight away. Mum's seem to bond immediately but for Dad's it can take a while (up to 6 months apparently). Without the same rush of hormones our partners get it can be hard to see the attraction of a newborn which just lies still, screams, poops, vomits and interrupts your sleep. Nobody likes to mention it as it seems taboo but don't worry, that's normal and the bond will come if you work on it.
  5. Love Bosch and flew through the seasons but struggling a little with Goliath, seems over the top and a bit too much. Tania Raymonde is fantastic though.
  6. Congrats. It'll be the absolute best thing you've ever done. Lean into it would be the best advice I can give. Change nappies ASAP and get used to it whilst they don't smell to bad. They'll make you smile more then you can imagine just by doing something mundane and 5 minutes later they'll do something else mundane which will annoy you more than you've ever been annoyed, but 5 minutes after that they'll make you smile again. Best advice I received was that it was perfectly normal to get really annoyed at them, it doesn't mean that you're a bad person or father, everyone feels that way sometimes. Just take a breath or walk away and speak to your partner about it as you're in it together.
  7. This is what I'm hoping too. Although even that is a bit brutal and cold. I don't think we'd actually sack him over text as that's pretty poor.
  8. Good luck with it. Brutal timing especially just after the cancelled game. I took a - 4 to remove Son and Regi about 20 minutes before the postponement was confirmed (brought in Dalot and Bowen). Luckily that's all I have from Spurs/Brighton. I've been waiting to shift Foster for weeks but seem to always have something more pressing to fix. Vardy is going but I'm keeping him for Newcastle. Hopefully does well there and they don't cancel the game due to their outbreak (7 players is bad but don't think they're all first team regulars). Will see what happens before the deadline and maybe bring Antonio in early.
  9. Why is it an either or question on why they signed him? Is it possible that they wanted to sign a fantastic player who they thought would create and score goals for them, but one that also provides them with a big growth in marketability, who will increase their fan base with younger kids and who might provide the international star/brand that they've been missing for years? If you add those things together then £100m doesn't seem ridiculous in today's market. I also wouldn't be surprised to see them try and sign Bellingham in the near future.
  10. Gary has spoken! That'll stir up a few people. Strangely almost makes me want BoJo to stay as I can't stand GNev. Hate BoJo more though.
  11. Doesn't have to be Johnson who leaked it. Could easily be someone who wants him gone (potentially to try and replace him) but also for the bill to pass without notice. Two birds, one party.
  12. Son is the worry for me. He's a lot of money and even if he's not ill his form could be affected by other being out.
  13. I'm likely swapping Vardy for Antonio. Free up some funds to use elsewhere (Sancho or Rashford maybe). I do like the idea of Watkins but hate owning Villa players due to the emotional aspect. Bowen is intriguing but Antonio appears to be better suited to their upcoming fixtures (flat track bully) and his ownership is scary if he does get his form back. Still worried about him staying fit for the long term though. The Spurs covid outbreak is a major concern though as I've got Son and Regi.
  14. All done at 46 and a slight red arrow. Could really do with ESR starting the game, missing a penalty, scoring an own goal, getting sent off and injuring himself getting changed.
  15. I don't think they're an anywhere thing. It's s a tool, slightly more niche maybe but still just a tool. Guess it depends who you hang around with. A lot of my friends/family have log burners so have things like that. We had a log burner and had 4 massive leylandii trees taken down in our old house so that's why I have them.
  16. This is the point I was making. Do these people see what they're doing as harmless and nothing to worry about, or do they realise how messed up what they're doing is. I suspect as you say most of them shrug it off as no big deal and not really a crime.
  17. The prevalence of the scheme's is far greater nowadays though. It seems to be lots of random everyday people just sat at home, rather than stockbrokers in an office.
  18. Chainsaw's are a US thing? I'm English, I own two chainsaw's (a proper one and an electric backup), I know loads of people people that own them too (admittedly some are tree surgeons).
  19. Taken a - 4 (mini WC) to free up some funds (think that's key next few weeks) and bring Jota in. Ben Johnson and Dennis in for Ait-Nouri and Toney (torn on that one) to allow Gallagher to Jota and leave 1.1 ITB. Will ditch Vardy next and potentially Son. Maybe get Watkins in and see if I can afford Sancho as a differential or potentially an out of position Rashford. Need to ditch James at some point soon as Chelsea's fixtures swing but struggling with that one.
