  1. Apparently if you skip to the end of the video and then hit restart it'll remove the ads most of the time.
  2. Scored 68 for a small red arrow and out of the cup. Lost by 3 points.
  3. We have Chinese Takeaway on New Year's. The wife's mum is American so she grew up having sausages and waffles on Christmas Eve and does the same for us.
  4. Never do turkey myself as always find it disappointing. Again though, if it's served cold why not just cook it during the day on Christmas Eve? Guess I'm missing something. I generally do this and pre-cook various sides to warm up and finish off on Christmas Day.
  5. Who's come down with it for us? Been busy today so hadn't seen this and don't want to venture into On topic/twitter unless I have to.
  6. What's the reasoning for prepping Christmas Dinner in the middle of the night before? Why didn't they just do it during the day on Christmas Eve?
  7. Appears it's Utd's turn to have a covid outbreak and rumours the Brentford game will be off.
  8. I agree that crypto-currency is dangerous and that a lot of people are completely unaware of the risks involved. There 100% are some dodgy characters involved in publishing tokens, but there are some completely genuine people involved too. There is a lot more to it than people perhaps think and I feel statements like those I queried perhaps come from fear, misunderstanding and misinformation. Which can be dangerous in itself. What stood out to me though was making such bold statements followed directly by stating a complete ignorance of how they work. People are of course free to dislike something, I just feel perhaps it would be better to build some level of knowledge of something before judging it. Not trying to sound preachy or that I'm judging anyone, so apologies if it reads that way.
  9. I thought it was meant to hit £100k by New Year's? I'm actually happy either way, it goes up I sell some of what I have. If crashes down to sub 10k fine by me (I've already recouped my buy in) I'll buy more.
  10. Never been to the pub on Christmas day before and never considered it. I've had extended family members swear by it as a great day. I used to love going out on Christmas Eve when I was younger as everyone was in a great mood. Had some brilliant nights doing so, including copping off with my elder sisters best friend when I was 20 odd.
  11. 55 points (after hits) for a small green arrow upto 17.5k. Still have Bowen and Vardy to go so hopefully go up some more.
  12. I'm not a fan of these tokens but how can you be so sure that it's "really dishonest" and "dangerous" when you "have no idea how... Crypto currencies work"?
  13. Find restaurants are often too scared to do this anymore. The parents seem to take massive offence to it, post about it online and get people worked up saying that the restaurant is snobby, hates kids and gets a load of abuse.
  14. Yeah think he's hit the post about 7 times. Even more than Watkins did last season.
  15. I ditched Toney a few weeks back (worked well) a si had double Brentford. It's been tough keeping Muembo but he's a cheap enabler so gave him a few more games as bench filler during this crazy run of fixtures.
  16. 18 points (-4) from 2 players (Dennis and Mbeumo). Happy with that start considering.
  17. Christmas tree went up today once the little one got home from school. Eating mince pies, drinking fizz and wearing my (Die Hard) Christmas jumper. Very content right now.
  18. We do exactly the same. Makes everything so much easier and stress free. My wife also chooses and then buys all the presents for her and my extended families too, meaning the only gifts I actually choose are for myself.
  19. And now Jota is out too. This week just keeps giving. Anyone none template might be in for a mega week.
  20. The consolation I'm taking is that it does seem literally everyone on twitter is - 4 or - 8 this week already.
  21. Rumours of a covid outbreak in the Norwich team now too.
  22. The Spurs rearrangements aren't likely to be anytime soon and are February at the earliest I believe (depending how they do in the Cup). Ben Crellin was talking about it last week. I've ditched mine and will get them back nearer the time. I was tempted by Silva but I think he'll drop in form a bit as he's massively over achieving off expected goals and assists (a lot more then even Gundo was last year) at about 145% I think. Gundo is doing well form wise but isn't starting regularly. I decided to go with Bowen for certainly of starts and decent fixtures.
  23. Feel the same. We always book a weekend away at the coast for mid-February so we have something to look forward to in January.
  24. The only other thing that I would advise to @PieFacEor any new Dad is based off some of my friends experiences and not to be worried if you don't bond with the baby straight away. Mum's seem to bond immediately but for Dad's it can take a while (up to 6 months apparently). Without the same rush of hormones our partners get it can be hard to see the attraction of a newborn which just lies still, screams, poops, vomits and interrupts your sleep. Nobody likes to mention it as it seems taboo but don't worry, that's normal and the bond will come if you work on it.
