Having grown up playing rugby, I've never really thought of football as a contact sport.

What makes a movie a Christmas movie?

Completely get that itch. I haven't been able to lift for ages and struggled with it. Full on holiday mode. Had a weeks holiday late October which was a bit of a blow out. Followed by an immediate chest infection which stopped me working out until recently, then sprained my wrist 2 weeks ago by ego lifting (didn't drop the weights after 2 months off as I'd been so annoyed by it all). So haven't exercised for nearly 2 months and my diet has fallen off a cliff with it. Figured I'd just relax and try to enjoy Christmas as I'd been cutting for ages. Lost a fair amount of progress and probably put 5-10lbs back on but I'm hoping to get a decent workout in on Christmas day and get back on it after that to run upto summer.

I still suspect they'll find a way to stop him (and some others) going to the Africa CoN or to juggle the games so they don't miss them.

The Quorn is a given.

Personally Id guess:

Sausage rolls (apple, mustard or tomato) all made and cooling on the counter. Starting to feel a little Christmassy at last.

Either alcohol or boredom impairing the judgement. The deadline feels weeks away and I've kinda lost motivation for it all recently.

Not keen with the rules being changed half way through the season but it's going mental in real life and at least they're trying to help. Just need to figure out the best way to take advantage of the situation and hopefully have some more clarity on DGWs soon to help with planning (as pointless as that is this season). My initial thoughts are to play on as if nothing has changed and then to just use it as a bonus in the final week or so for one big last push.

Loved him at Villa and felt he left too soon. One of our few ex players I'm happy to see be successful and reckon would be a successful manager when he retires.

It may bring in increased money for the short term but I suspect it would get old fast. The exclusivity is the selling point.

I'm aware of how competitive the higher ranks are and I wasn't expecting green arrows, I was expecting to drop like a stone before the kick off as I was decimated. However, what I was saying above was that after seeing the scores I ended up with (which were pretty decent in the end - I was about 35% above average) I was surprised that they were actually poor scores considering the volume of very large scores in the last two weeks. Basically that I was amazed how well a lot of people did in two awful weeks. Aware I've been in the pub since noon so probably not explaining this too well.

What's the percentage of dead teams at the moment? They'll be a lot but not that much to drag the average score down that much. If it was 2 million that would still leave roughly 75% active teams. I'd also suspect that a lot of zombie teams would be fairly template and have Salah, TAA, Cancelo, Kane etc. They'd have a lot of random dross bit they'd also have a fair few who actually returned decent points the last fortnight.

My last 2 scores are 58 and 59 points. Considering those were covid weeks with averages of 45 and 39 I should be ecstatic. Yet I've red arrowed both weeks. No ideas how so many people are pulling off big scores at the moment.

I'm hovering around the 15-25k rank but dropping slowly. Haven't had a full 11 out for two weeks now and won't again next week.

It's that you can regularly end up hoping that one of your own players doesn't do well. It's ridiculous to have a situation where that occurs. I saw Cancelo's points and as he was my vice I was hoping Salah wouldn't play. Can be similar with the bench.

55 and a red arrow for me down to 30k. Giving the captain to Salah did it for me. I'll be honest I hate the whole captain thing and wished they'd drop it.

That was me watching City last week. On the plus side for you though at least Ramsdale didn't clean sheet.

For the good of everyone involved they should cancel all of tomorrow's games.

Used the FT to get Watkins in just before lunchtime today. Very nearly went for Laca so expect him to do well. I took a - 4 to get Martinelli in so hoping he does well.
