  1. Curious what's going on in Lithuania and Latvia? Looks to be about 55 to 60% vaccinated but death figures way above the norm for those percentages.
  2. Guns don't kill people rappers do, Ask any politican and they'll tell you its true.
  3. From the videos I've seen of him he looks like a shrewd appointment.
  4. The random posts you see on twitter in response to something about a player/club from rival fans, the ones that list out stupid lists like the below and say 'X' isn't even on my list... What a stupid waste of a person's time typing all that out for something nobody cares about. It's not even a good burn. As one of the replies says, how depressing this is what will be all over anything we post now.
  5. Welcome to the club, hope you do brilliantly for us and get us where we want to be. I'll be honest, not my first choice (Favre) but have grown to be optimistic about it over the last few days. Good luck!
  6. Clearly just looking for some gravy.
  7. Not a dig at Gerrard being appointed, slight dig at him getting Rangers though. Howe is one thing but I'm not overly keen on former players jumping straight into big clubs without doing the lower league's first. There's a lot of really promising young managers in the lower league's doing great work who likely won't get a chance at the top level. For example being Ryan Lowe at Argyle could be a really interesting appointment for someone like Norwich to have gone for as I think he has loads of potential.
  8. Nope, but good luck with it.
  9. People probably just forgot about this thread.
  10. Wish people wouldn't engage with this, by phoning in or reacting to the tweets they're giving talksport and Murphy what they want. They're purposefully trying to push buttons and fishing for reactions. People are basically putting money in their pocket when they react to it. He'll absolutely love being called Mr Anti Villa as it shows it's working, probably got him a bonus.
  11. I currently have the exact same defence, but considering mixing it up in a few weeks. Not sure I'd be playing risks when in the top 10k but he who dares.
  12. Keep thinking he's due a big haul at some point. No doubt it'll be against someone completely unexpected and when I drop him. Unless you're playing major catch up and need to gamble (to early in the season for that in my opinion) just leaving the armband on Salah seems the best call right now.
  13. Big call on Kane, hope that works out for you. Hoping Son and Reggy score more though as I've got them. I'm torn on Vardy. He's done nothing since I picked him up 3 weeks ago and now has Chelsea. But has good fixtures after that.
  14. When you retreat to Off Topic to be safe for a bit and find it's being discussed in here too. Please don't make me have to go in to North American Sports to get away from it all, I really don't want to be in there.
  15. I was torn on him and kept switching, but wanted TAA, James and Reguillion to start and the fixtures for everyone else looked sound. I had a crazy busy Friday and would probably have put him back in if I had time but oh well. Muembo and Toney had a goal/assist overturned which is painful, Son and Vardy were disappointing and should have done better, but Salah, Raph and Armstrong got at least 9 each so I can't moan. I've got 59 after hits and a top 500k GW rank but feel it could have been so much more.
  16. I've got Forster, Livramento and Cancelo on my bench. The - 8 I took to bring in Son, Reguillion and Toney brought in 9 points. So I'm up... Until I remember I ditched Havertz to do so. I was sure both us and Utd would sneak a goal.
  17. How about Bielsa just to make @villalad21 head explode.
  18. Favre would be my favourite, followed by Emery or a couple of the other European names that have been suggested. Really don't want Gerrard, Lampard or any of the British based names that come up.
  19. Very sad to see Dean go. I want all Villa managers to succeed but I've not wanted a manager to succeed as much as him since Gregory or Little. Thank you for all the great memories and making me enjoy being a fan again. Whilst it was probably inevitable that it would happen as something had gone wrong, I'm sure both Dean and Villa will bounce back. UTV
